The face I carry with me -- last --
When I go out of Time --
To take my Rank -- by -- in the West --
That face -- will just be thine --

I'll hand it to the Angel --
That -- Sir -- was my Degree --
In Kingdoms -- you have heard the Raised --
Refer to -- possibly.

He'll take it -- scan it -- step aside --
Return -- with such a crown
As Gabriel -- never capered at --
And beg me put it on --

And then -- he'll turn me round and round --
To an admiring sky --
As one that bore her Master's name --
Sufficient Royalty!

RE: johannes Zimmerle
I appreciate your comments.. I can only convey what I was told.. Perhaps at some point the land for st michaels was a community cemetery.. At my own church the Church and Cemetery was organized in 1832.. however we have marked graves from the 1700's.. Wish I could help more..below is the message that I sent to the other lady..

I have not been to the cemetery in 45 years.... I was taken there as a child (8).... My Grandfather's uncle Jerry's Dau Ruth from Ashville was trying to find the family back in the 60's. There was a group of the Nichols family there and they were pointing out the graves

There is a Burial plot for the Nichols Family.. Johannes Dau Eve married John Nichols.... Rev. Dreher preached her funeral on 8-9-1820 and she is buried at St. Michaels with her Husband. Dreher Journals may give more of a clue. Margareta Klingmanin Zimmerle, Eve's Mother, is buried beside her, No Stone. Next grave over was Johannes. He has a Very Small stone with only his initials on it J.Z.... Good Luck

RE: Liz Sandifer

No need to thank me, but I appreciate you taking the time to leave a message.
The Love for your Family, as I read about them, left me with a sense of relief to know that we are capable to norture Love in so many levels.
That it escapes the definition of what we mere folks call an ending.

I enjoyed reading about your family very much, my mind just wanders off into what you wrote into their Biographies.

Thank you for sharing such memories,

Joseph Wilby.

I want to thank you, very much, for such a prompt and wonderful response to my photo request. I am grateful that you are willing to pursue this further, and ask the church itself. How kind of you. I just Emailed the person who posted the info, and asked for more details as to how he make the connection to this cemetery, for this person. I hope that he is as speedy and willing as you are.

Blessings from Florida, LAC

Thanks gir',
For remembering Mom and Daddy for their Anniversary. Wish they had been fortunate enough to have more years ahead of them...Together! Life was good and they loved and respected each other even though Mom was...let me think how to describe her..."Excitable!" Haha...G.
