As per Soldiers and Sailors Database;
Lorenzo D. Toney mustered in July 20, 1862, Helena, AR., until October, then went to Benton Barracks, St. Louis, MO until Dec,. 31, 1862 where he mustered out as Captain, Co D, 1st Bat., AR., Inf, Union Army. Microfilm# M383, Roll 4.

Yes, I am related on the Jones side. I took the picture of Aunt Pearl at one of the Jones Reunions sitting in the car. She was clear minded until the day she passed.
