Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching the YOUNGLOVE Sur name and Allied Families. Willing to share information on the Younglove family.
I have been collecting data for 58 years.

Please visit my YOUNGLOVE web site listed below.
If you can't find what you are looking for e-mail me I may have that YOUNGLOVE you are looking for.

Love to hear from anyone researching the Younglove Family. New relatives welcome.

I feel myself dejected now
Forsaken and alone.
And I wish I had a plenty left
That I could call my own.
My troubles come rollin on
Like billows over the deep.
I often sigh and walk alone
And sit me down and weep.
But God is good
His ways I cannot scan.
He certainly knows what is best
For me, poor, old and feeble man.

Composed when aged and infirmed.
Samuel B. Younglove Sept 1893

Seeley Younglove and Clara Pfeifer
I thought you might want to know that Clara Pfeifer Younglove Springer is buried in Town of Maine Cemetery in Park Ridge, IL, beside her second husband, William.

Their son, Walter Harold Younglove Springer, is buried in Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL, beside his wife, Viola.

RE: George Hurd
Dear Grace: You are very kind to add the improvements I asked for. George Hurd is not a family or friend of mine, but I have done a lot of research on his family because George's brother was a nationally known scales manufacturer and got 72 US patents for his improvements in scales. George was just a druggist, but the brother, Walter, was famous, and grew up in the Milan area. George's father was famous in Milan, there is a street called "Hurd Street" named after Dr. Isaac Hurd. Now that you have already added the things I wanted for George's memorial, I don't need a transfer. Thank you very much!!

Seeley Younglove's children
Hi, Grace. Thanks for the update information. To introduce myself, I believe I am the only grandchild of Seeley Younglove. My name is Vina-Gail Ruth Springer. My son and I have been researching our family tree and have been reviewing your site. My father, Walter Harold (Younglove) Springer, is the only son born from the marriage of Clara Pfeifer and Seeley Younglove. My father had two sisters, one older (Ruth Gertrude Younglove, date of birth is 3/1905; death 4/1905) and one younger, Hazel Frances Younglove, date of birth and death is 6/1909). It is important to us that the site list all three children born from the Younglove/Pfeifer marriage. Please note that Seeley and Clara have been omitted as Hazel's parents. We would also like to note that the correct name is Ruth Gertrude (the names appear as Gertrude Ruth); my father gave me Ruth as a middle name, in her memory. Ruth and Hazel Younglove are buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Hillside, IL. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We think you are doing a fantastic job of charting the family tree. Keep up the great work!

Photo of Lemuel Vanzandt
Hi Grace,
I found 2 memorials for Lemuel Vanzandt in the Old Petersburg (Wing) cemetery. The original memorial is under "Lemuel Van Zandt" (5450781) and has a lot of info and a photo of his stone before it was cleaned. Then I found the newer memorial for "Lemtel Vanzant" (51470077) also at Wing. It doesn't have any info, but it has a great photo you took after the stone was cleaned. Could you please add your photo to the original memorial? Once you have done that, I'll send a request to Caveman for him to remove his duplicate memorial. You always take really nice photos, so I wanted to make sure it didn't get lost. I have sent a request to Glenn Geirland, the creator of the original page, to have him update Lemuel's last name to "Vanzandt". So, I'm not sure how it will be spelled when you go look for it.
