Yes, Ma'am. It is really tough to lose men in combat and is much, much worse when it's a brother, uncle, farther, cousin, etc. It's hard to explain, but I felt like every time I lost a soldier, part of me died with him. I never lost a close relative in combat so I can only vaguely imagine what it must have been like for him. Thank you for your well wishes and appreciation. I'm extremely grateful for both.
