I would like to thank all the "Transcribers" who are busy entering all the info from the photos that are being uploaded. I have taken lots of local pictures and this new tool is one that I'm very glad to see. I will transcribe as I can, but appreciate all the help anyone can give because I know I won't have time to get them all done (or it would have been finished long ago:) |
Many of the photos that I am uploading were, however, taken before the size limit increased and could be a lot better quality. Do not hesitate to contact me for a better quality picture if you see one you would like retaken - I'll get to it just as soon as I can!
Have a great day!!!

Hi Steph - thank you for the edits! I see your family name on some of these memorials. Let me know if you'd like any transferred to you.

Thanks for all you do!

Thank you for allowing me to make corrections! : ) The Hillyards are one of my ancestor families so I enjoy visiting with them in the virtual cemetery. Take care.

Steph, If I go to the trouble of "keying" and sending to you a "biographical sketch" from, "Portrait and Biographical Record of Randolph, Jackson, Perry and Monroe Counties, Illinois" by the Biographical Publishing Company, published 1894, concerning Jacob B. Beattie, will you consider using the content to expand his FAGrave memorial? I realize the document is not a primary source and therefore, you may be hesitant to rely on it. Laura Duncan

I just came across your photo of Josephine R. (Allcorn) Steinheimer's gs (Find A Grave Memorial# 139350800). Josephine was born in Kaskaskia and her mother was Elizabeth Garnett (Guthrie) Allcorn. I am a Guthrie family researcher and Josephine was my gr-grandfather's first cousin. I have all her family information, but what I would like, if you don't mind, is to use the photo of her gs in the Guthrie family genealogy which I am currently compiling.

Thank You for all the pictures.
Appears that they need some attention.
Thank you very much for the photos!
|Janet W||RE: John Boyle Sr, Hill Prairie Cemetery|
I am looking for a John Boyle. I am plowing through the unknown dates. I took the from the age at death. I have not found a stone nor do I have further information. I was just trying to help someone else looking for a John Boyle.
