We want to Thank a fellow Find-A-Graver Al for the transfer of the Pocasset Cemetery located in Grady County, Oklahoma and for the transfer of the Liberty Cemetery also in Grady County, Oklahoma and Fairlawn Cememtery located in Grady County.
My family line consists of Crow Kroh Haney Zumwalt and McLain's and Pierce and Davis. I am so sorry I will not transfer any of these lines.

Also as of March 1,2014 a fellow find-a-grave friend transferred the Indian Agency Cemetery memorials to us to maintain. A special Thanks to N. Dale Talkington who thru his hard work and very dear friend Mr. Wahnee Cooper Clark they have been working hard to get this cemetery acknowledged by the U. S. Government. As of this year Fort Sill has agreed to work and to get as much information as possible to place markers on our people.

Nancy Francis Scott Headstone
I am Troy Holleman. Perhaps I was the one that was incorrect. I was going by the DOB on the stone that appears to be 10 years off. It could be a mistake on the stone or not written clearly. I will double check the information. I apologize for my previous hasty post. Again thank you for all the wonderful work you do.

I am Troy Holleman great grandson of Nancy Francis Scott. The headstone picture on Find a Grave is not the one of my Nancy Francis Scott that was born 23 Feb 1854 in Coffee County, Tennessee and died 7 Apr 1949 at Carnegie, OK and buried in the Alden Cemetery. As you can see from the obit to the right of the HS pic the dates from the obit (and all other records) are different than the ones on the HS pictured. I have been to the cemetery and photographed my great grandmother's stone. This was before digital cameras. I did not know until the pictures were developed that due the position of the sun I got a poor photograph. I plan to return soon to get a better one. But, I can tell you definitively that the stone added is not the right one.

Than you for the work you do. Please made the necessary correction.

Find A Grave Memorial# 64947306 that you have listed as Mary Lou Taylor Cook is incorrect. According to the dates you have listed she was actually Mary Regina (Eagen) Cook.

Clifford Cooks (1st) wife Mary Lou (Taylor) Cook died in 1960 according to the obit you have listed in his memorial.

His 2nd wife Mary Lou (Yowell) Cook died on November 1, 2011.

Since you made the memorial for this Mary Cook on
Jan 31, 2011 it wouldn't be for his 2nd wife either since she was still alive.

She is the wife of some other Cook buried there in Memory Lane Cemetery.

I have sent an edit for Clifford Cook to have her removed as his spouse. Below is data backing this up.

Thank you so much for the transfer.

I've been working hard on F-A-G to get them to give us an option of selecting Indian Territory as a birth spot; but to no avail. If we need to do a petition, count me in.

Good luck with your good work.
