Truthfully, I spend too much time on the FindAGrave site. But it gives me the opportunity to do one of those things I used to do in my younger years and that is, visiting cemeteries (like many of you reading this). I was always fascinated by the headstones that had the flip-up photo holders so I could see what the people buried there looked like and and try to guess what they were like in life and to speculate what might have happened to them. Now with this site, I can do pretty much the same thing in a climate-controlled environment! Thanks to all who contribute to this site-I especially like the vintage or 'retro' photos that you post. And thanks to those of you who have placed remembrances on the memorials I have added.
If you have a spare moment or two, please visit my virtual cemeteries or those memorials I have sponsored and leave a flower or message for these folks. Thank you.
For those of you reading this in need of assistance going through the grieving process after losing a loved one, I recommend that you consider attending a GriefShare group (www.griefshare.org) in your locale. This program was a great help to me and others that I know who've attended.
Community Day I follow them on FB and for Find A Grave Community Day some people will be going to Woodland Cemetery to meet and photograph! The idea is to get as many gravers as possible in the US (or abroad!) to fill outstanding photo requests, take photos for new entries, and meet others in their area. I have you on my 'friends list' as a Cleveland (area!) peep, so I wanted you to know. There are already 3 of us signed up.

Florence Heare Hi, Thank you so much for letting me know about sweet Florence. I try to be sure that everything is correct. I'm so glad you are observant and caught it for me. I happened to log in to check my emails when the message came thru. You are very welcome for the visits. There is no need to thank me. It truly is a pleasure to have the opportunity to share the memories of so many people's loved ones. Take care and God bless. Best Regards, Marylee~*
Annabel Chadbourne Hi, I wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for the sweet token and message you left on my Mother's memorial. How very kind of you. I will return the favor on your memorials as as soon as I can. :)
