Howdy Find A Grave folks, for those who are as hooked as I am. I enjoy this site so much. I'm the mother of three children and been with my husband for 20 years. I am employed at the medical laboratory for drug screens and specimens for any patients. I started doing my first genealogy since my grandmother died in Jan 2001. I grew up with my late grandfather and my mother did doing their genealogy on their own. So this is my new hobby. I have rarely added memorials for several family members. This helps with genealogist, who does research, that can be related to anyone else. Thanks Find A Grave for creating this wonderful site.
~Peace~

 | My "new found cousin" Thanks Kimberly for replying to my message so fast. I'm sure that you saw that George Washington Humble was my Great Grandfather. My Mother was the oldest child of Samuel Robert Humble and Sallie Elizabeth Bledsoe Humble. My Mother was Clara Mae. By the way, who is the distant cousin of yours in Baton Rouge?. I have a great deal of Humble genealogy that I got from a Faye Johnson that lived in Enterprise, La. I got this about five or six years ago. I understand that she is now deceased. If you would like you can contact me direct by email and we won't have to go through this method. i am interested in knowing just who your parents and Grandparents were also. I think you can find my email on the find a grave site. If not let me know and I will give it to you by this means.

 | Lela Humble Thomas Kimberly, I see where you have posted the grave of my Aunt Lela Humble Thomas in the Austin Cemetery. You also have posted some photos of her as a young student at La Tech and also at UT, plus one as a small child. I am just wondering where you got those photo's. i do thank you for the posting and I am also wondering if you have any family connection to her or any of the Humble's from Louisiana. Thanks, Patricia McConnell Taylor, Dallas, TX | | | Kay Parrish Thompson

 | Henry A Kuhlmann and wife Not related. Just found their obits in the newspaper and added them. Have not been to the cemetery (that one, anyway). If you put in a photo request, there are many volunteers in Bexar County who might get out there and take the photos.
I enjoy adding the really old obits and hopefully it will help someone who is looking for a relative!
Hope you have a good holiday season!Added by H M G on Dec 21, 2011 8:44 PM | | | Bob

 | Ella Temple Walsworth memorial Kimberly,
I've requested a grave photo for her memorial in Transport Cemetery. I do not believe it will show her first name as Amy, but if it does, I will revise her memorial to match.
The 1880 US Census for Jackson Parish, LA recorded her as Ellen Temple; the 1900 US Census for Jackson Parish, LA recorded her as Anna (or Ama) E. Walsworth; the 1910 US Census for Jackson Parish, LA as Amy E. Walsworth; and the 1920 US Census for Winn Parish, LA as Ella Walsworth. I didn't find her 1930 census record in a current check. Her obituary and that of her husband both give her maiden name only as Ella Temple. Her marriage record was for Ellie Temple. Her death certificate listed her as Mrs. J. T. Walsworth.
With few exceptions, unless there are factual errors to the contrary, I leave the first name on a memorial to match the name inscribed on a grave marker.
FWIW, I'm well aware of the family trees on Ancestry.com which list her as "Amy Ella Temple". I research the memorials I create and put little stock generally in the online family trees which often contain utter rubbish. (I'm not saying that's the case here.)
Regards,

 | Martha (Mattie) Temple's DOB in Transport Cemetery, Winn Parish, LA My source is the cemetery survey in USGENWEB archives for Winn Parish, LA at http://files.usgwarchives.org/la/winn/cemeteries/transport2.txt. I've just placed a photo request for her memorial, which hopefully will resolve this issue.
If you don't receive replys to other queries, it's suppose I dislike replying publicly to private emails.
