RE: William Lowell
One other thing to consider as you search...

in the mid to late 1800s a new garden cemetery called Evergreen Cemetery opened in the town of Deering (now part of Portland) and many families bought large plots there.

There was an exodus of sorts from our historic Eastern Cemetery in Portland, as families had bodies moved from Eastern Cem to Evergreen Cem. If you are unsure about where some people might be from this period, it may be helpful for you to contact Evergreen Cemetery to see if these folks were actually moved from one cemetery to the other.

RE: Michael Overholtzer
Received you message re: Michael's wife Angeline. Unfortunately Angeline's Headstone is nowhere to be found at that cemetery. There is an empty spot where a large square once was at the foot of Michael's plot. The grass is dead around that area, so it doesn't look like it was too long ago. I would suggests calling the cemetery and ask if Angeline is register/buried at that cemetery.

I am sorry could not help you.

RE: Michael Overholtzer
Hi Pudgy!
I went back out to see if I could location Angeline Overholtzer again. While I was looking I notice two other Overholtzer head stones at the foot of Michaels Overholtzer. I took the two photos. Do you have a Wilma Susan Kidwell Overholtzer and an Albert J. Overholtzer in your family? If so post the request and send me a message back and I will post them for you. Hope they are in your family.

You're welcome. I also found another Pagemaker in the same area and created a mem for them in St Aloysius Cem in Renville Co.

RE: Arabella Thompson
Pudgy,

You're welcome. When I get a request I photograph the entire cemetery, that way I only search it once. I did Fairview in five days and now I have it. I don't get many requests for recent burials, so I haven't had to revisit any cemeteries. I have eighty cemeteries photographed so far, mostly in Lancaster and York counties.

Sincerely,
Wayne

Enoch Eby Overholtzer
Would you link Enoch to his parents: father David J. (# 5647758) and mother Francina (# 5647759). There is also a duplicate entry for Enoch (listed as E. E.) that probably needs to be deleted, but your entry was more complete. Thanks
