Something interesting came as a result of your photo request. When I went back to have another look, the marker for Benjamin Klemp is situated on the place where Balis Shackleford's grave is supposed to be (33-A) and 33-B is, as shown in Jeff's photograph, unmarked. I wondered why Benjamin Klemp's marker was there. I looked around and found the grave of Pauline Klemp several rows above Benjamin's. So I went to the office and they confirmed that in fact, Benjamin's marker was placed on the WRONG grave! A work order has been put in to correct this.
The office has nothing in their records to show that the Shacklefords' family ever purchased markers for either of their graves.
I'm sorry this was not a more positive outcome, but at least a mistake is going to get corrected!

Hello. I claimed your photo request but then I noticed there is already a photo that was taken last week. It seems that there is no marker, and a photo was taken that shows where the grave is. Is there something else you would like done? Perhaps a wider angle to show who this person is buried next to?
