This photo was taken in 1968 as a high school student working on a tiny graveyard restoration project. My family genealogy has been an intense 11+ year study and has led me back to circa 1755 London. Many folks have been kind enough to assist me in the tedious but rewarding research project. Contributing to Find-A-Grave is my way of giving back and paying forward.|
I believe that a memorial belongs with the family and loved ones to cherish and maintain. My mission is to be cooperative with others doing research and I am more than willing to transfer memorials I have created. Happy hunting...
"I think most people can do a whole awful lot more if they just try, ... They just don't have the confidence that they can write a novel or they can write poetry or they can take pictures or paint or whatever, and so they don't do it, and they leave the planet dissatisfied with themselves."

Never mind my previous post--I found out about it in the FAQs, but wouldn't have know about it if it hadn't been for you. Thanks!
I accepted all the edits, so I hope everything processed. I've never seen this feature before--how did you do it????

I've made all the requested changes. If you would like me to transfer any of these memorials to you, please let me know as I am not related to any of them.

|Jean Keener||Spelling error|
Sorry, I'm a hunt & peck typist & just noticed the mistake in Mary Ann aka Mollie's surname. The correct spelling is WHITMORE, not Whitmon.
Her parents were George A. & Mary Virginia Wainwright Whitmore. George was my 3rd gr-grand uncle. As I previously mentioned, my DAR patriot is John Yong Whitmore, father of George.
My family tree is on ancestry going back to the 1530s. It is private at this time because some living members are included.
Again I apologize for the confusion in spelling.
|Jean Keener||1st wife of Adrian Hardy, Sr|
The correct name for Adrian's 1st wife was MARY ANN WHITMOME (aka Mollie) b. 1853 d. 4 Feb 1877. Burial place unknown. She was my maternal 1st cousin 4x removed.
There were 3 children born to Mollie & Adrian, Sr:
Mary Carolyn (aka Carrie) 1872-1960
Katherine (aka Kate) 1874-1920
Adrian, Jr 1876-1903 which you have listed.
Both of the Hardy daughters married Zehmer brothers.
I'm hoping you will corect Mollie's surname & if there are any questions, please contact me.
I've been into genealogy since the middle 1980s and am now an inactive member of the Dar through a maternal 4th gr-grandfather, John Young Whitmore.
I appreciate all of your hard work. I've more or less retired from genealogy due to my advancing age.
My Dar number is 0770479
My Find a Grave number is 48010254
