Bio

My name is CherylAnn Mabry-McComsey; I have been doing family ancestry research for 14+ years now.

I have taken many photos of family grave sites and also have helped to clean them up since the cemetery maintenance crews are starting to lack. I have found this to be at almost every cemetery that I have come in contact with.

I am originally from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania when I had remarried we moved to Chester County, Pennsylvania. I am very familiar with both counties and others. I found Find A Grave by accident when I was sent a link to a grave that I had been researching for an adoptive cousin looking to see where her biological Mother was buried. After finding the grave I started typing in my own family's names and came up with quite a few that are in Virginia, this is where my Father was original from.

This was so amazing to me that I decided to join and start adding the rest of my family members to the site. I am now a volunteer for Find A Grave and it gives me such a wonderful feeling when I can go out and actually help other people who can find closure with a place to visit with their loved ones.

I may not always find the cemeteries as I have experienced in the past, due to the fact that they may have changed names and it's usually many times over especially with the older cemeteries, but I do aquire the help of the historical societies in my research and they have played a very big part.

I also work with Ancestry and have my own site so if there is something or someone that your trying to find and can't, I will be more than happy to try and help you out.
