Hi! Memorial Day started me thinking about my ancestors, particularly those whom I have never met and those who fought,died, and serve(d) our country. I have always had a love of history, and, in particular, family history, some of which had some missing pieces and drama associated with it. I am very excited about sharing the lives of my loved ones whom I am now discovering, and sharing the incredible uniqueness and specialness of every life. I live in Mtn. Home, AR, with my husband and two boys, who are all beginning to have an appreciation of their roots. Paternally, my "roots" started and flourished in this country in the following states: Michigan, Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana; maternally, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Arkansas, as well as Maryland. Thanks for this site...it is wonderful!!!|

Thank you for sponsoring his memorial. I served with Echo Co 2/3 that he served with. I didn't know him as he was there before I went.
He can also be found at our Echo 2/3 website,
Though you distance cousin and he lived in MI, would you happen to know the location of his burial or anything about his family?

Sorry I don't have any more information on Marion. I just have the info from her grave stone. You might try the Fenton Historicalhttp://fentonhistsoc.tripod.com/ society
rhey may have an obit on file. You can also go to the Genesee County offices in Flint ( on Fridays I think ). They have a genealogy person working there that is vey helpful. They have copies of the death certificates for Genesee County. There are also records at the Flint library. Carl

|Mark Weitzel||Ken Bowersox|
Hi Debbie, Scott added my info. to his memorial, so I am going to delete mine. I see you added flowers, you may want to add them to Scott's memorial. Thanks again! Mark
|Mark Weitzel||RE: Ken Bowersox|
Hi Debbie, Thank You for letting me know about the duplicate memorial. I sent an edit request to Scott, who maintains the other memorial, asking him to add my info. and to link Ken to his parents. I have also added the photo of Ken to Scott's memorial. I don't care who has the memorial as long as Scott will add the info. and links, that's fine with me. I agree, Ken was a very nice person. I remember him well at family reunions etc. when he would come back "Home". I will ask one favor; Would you be kind enough to let me know if Scott doesn't add the info. and links? If he doesn't, then I will go ahead and add the cemetery info. to my memorial. Thanks again!! Mark
