Walter Wagoner
Thank you so much for helping me.

Walter Wagoner was with the 457th Bomb Group and in the 749th Bomb Squadron. So he was actually not in two bomb groups but in Bomb Group and a Bomb Squadron.

I will post you the link to the memorial somewhere next week.

Thank you for helping me again.

Dear Diane and John,

my name is Erwin de Mooij and I am the content webmaster for the 457th Bomb Group Association website.

At this moment I am working on a virtual cemetery/memorial on the website honering all 339 KIA/MIA/KIS of the group.

I saw your picture of Walter Wagoner's grave marker and I was wondering if I could use it for the memorial. If you made any other photos of 457th BG members would I be able to use these too?

Because this is a veterans memorial page on a veterans website I am not able to post a credit with each photo. The only name will be the name of the person who died. I do have a thank you at the bottem of the page thanking findagrave and all it's contributers and photographers. Would this be alright with you?

We would greatly appreciate it.

Best regards,

Erwin de Mooij

Hans Rasmussen
Dear Diane & John,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division, which was significantly comprised of individuals from the North Platte area. According to the History of the 89th Division, Hans Rasmussen belonged to the this unit. He is listed as being severely wounded on 10/20/1918.

The gravestone (Find A Grave Memorial# 45537934) which you have created, shows this Hans Rasmussen was a private in the US Army in WWI, but offers nothing more than that. So, would you have any idea if this particular Hans Rasmussen belonged to Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division?

You help would be greatly appreciated!

looking for Netherlys
Margerat and Margeret S. Netherly.
Is it possible that one of them is the one that married a Williams Netherly 1802-1844.
She was born 1796?

RE: Re: Jennie Silkwood
Yes, it looks like someone has made a few repairs at High Street Cemetery, including a nice new cemetery sign, which I have submitted for approval. Thanks for all your work with Findagrave!

Thanks for your message. Yes, the info on his death certificate isn't correct. Ida Beumart was Thomas Jefferson Smith's wife, not his mother. Ida was the mother of the informant, Roy Smith. She is also buried at Fairview Cemetery in Pecos. Her death certificate is at

Access to Antioch Cemetery
Greetings! I recently discovered that my 5 times great grandparents are buried in Antioch cemetery in Buchanan County Missouri. I was curious to visit the site, however I see that it is located in a field complete with a fenced pathway. I see that you have visited this site (at least I assume you did given the picture), and I was wondering if you had to receive permission from any local land owners before going. I contacted the zoning folks for the county and they strongly recommended staying off the site unless I had permission from someone. I hadn't realized that a cemetery can be private land, but I guess this is. Any advice would be appreciated!
