I live in the beautiful North West corner of New Jersey that most people don't know exists in our beautiful state. (no exit numbers).|
I "retired" after 30 years with a major corporation.
I started my "collecting of ancestors" about 12 years ago (1996) when my youngest daughter gave me the Family Tree Maker program as a gift to "give me something to do." Little did I know where this would lead me and the people I would meet.
I am excited about the changes in the research being done. I enjoy helping others in their "hunts" and in building their "family relationships." I am still learning too and like being a part of a group helping not only myself but others along the way. The ability to locate Cemeteries is one of those research options that are available to us.
Beside the Blog listed as Website, I also have a Blog on the user of the Family Tree Maker User.
I am also a member of the Association of Graveyard Rabbits and Grave Mappers.
Comments are always welcome.
Happy Hunting (Ancestors, that is)

I am NOT accusing you of anything - please - I am just trying to figure out what is correct here - All I can say, is, that there are definitely two memorials in two cemeteries - one needs to be marked cenotaph if it is just a memorial and not an actual burial...as I said, perhaps they were removed to Milltown???...I dont know which one would be the actual burial or the cenotaph...I am just trying to get it straight and all I can do is guess at this point. Since it is YOUR family - perhaps the cemetery in Milltown can tell you if they are physically there or if it is just a memorial marker. As they are NOT my direct family - I would have a harder time getting this info. I am not making any changes at this point. I will leave it to the family to figure out.

Really?? Much older?? - these two stones look identical to me - I was hoping you would find, that these were taken in June Cemetery and that in doing so many photos, you had just installed them in the wrong cemetery - I wonder if you can read the marker behind them?? This would definately help. Either way, I believe you may have a cenotaph. If so, findagrave will mark it that way...or...you could just add to bio...marker only burials in June?? I just wanted to be certain before I did this. Linda is certain her markers are in June, and I have the transcript. They COULD have been removed?? Whatever you feel is necessary to clear up the two. I will be glad to fix....Donna aka lulu

|Janet Knepper||Frank Love in Forest Lawn|
I made it back to Forest Lawn and found Frankie Love. There are 2 of them. They are in Section 14 - Lot 340. I added all of the 'Love' family members from that plot also...but no Frank...
Another search identified a Frank Love in Section 31 - grave 17. I went there today. There is no headstone for Frank Love. I took photos of where he is buried and added them to his memorial page.
|Janet Knepper||Sorry - Frank Love in Forest Lawn Cemetery|
Sorry! I inadvertently typed John Love in the subject line when I was sending you the message. I think because you said that Frank is near John and George. John W and George are in Section 14 - Lot 206. Unfortunately, that's what I checked when I was there....John W and George.
There is a Frankie and Mrs. Frankie Love buried in Section 14 - Lot 340. I will check them out the next time I am at Forest Lawn. Frankie died in Ludington, MI. Does this sound familiar?
|Janet Knepper||John Love request in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw|
I looked at your request for the photo of Frank Love's # 87313092 headstone and your note that says that he could/should be by John W and George Love. There is no record of his wife Cora Love either, unless she remarried and has another last name.
I have photographed everyone in that plot and then investigated the cemetery records for that plot. There were 3 people missing headstones:
1.) Sarah Love (John W's wife)buried to the North of John W.
2.) Unknown Love (no information available except that the person was removed from Oakwood Cemetery and moved here)Buried to the South of John W Love.
3.) Unknown Child Love. buried next to Unknown Love to the South.
I have entered the memorials with a photo of the Love plot. I'm thinking that Unknown Love could be Frank? or maybe the child was Frank?
Hope this helps!

Russ, thank you for the addition and for catching my error. Would you like me to transfer Sarah to you since she is your great-grandmother?
|Jim Tipton||RE: Contact Requested|
Thanks, I sent him an email.

Hi Russ! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Benjamin Chew is buried in St. Peter's Episcopal Churchyard, 3rd Street & Pine, Philadelphia.
I tried to contact the memorial manager when I added the photo, but it seems that the contributor has vanished.
Benjamin's info can be found at the following link from the library of congress http://archive.org/details/inscriptionsinst00bron
He is on page 20.
