Bio and Links
Bio Photo I will be out of town & away from my computer for the entire month of June 2015 for an extended vacation, so please be patient with edits, as I will not be able to attend to them until July. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I will only be back for approx. 10 days in July (not consecutive) so please be patient with me. When I go on vacation I mean a "true" vacation (away from all electronic devices).

Pat, I was photographing this grave and noted there are duplicate Find A Grave web pages for Margaret Blakely. The other was created by Stacy June 2011 Find A Grave#71828522. They both show up only when you "view all interments" on the Double Springs Cemetery page. Just FYI Thanks Val

Thanks for the acknowledgment !!!
You are the first Memorial page writer that has acknowledged me for the information that I've found and listed on the Find A Grave website. I appreciate it. Again Thanks. I could not find where Joseph Jackson's Mother was buried but I knew from my Ancestry researching who she was. I find it challenging to match parents with their children. JML

1Lt William W. Bonner
1Lt William W. Bonner was lost on D-Day of the invasion of Sicily: 10 July 1943. His body was never accounted for and his name is inscribed on the Wall of Missing of the Carthage Cemetery in Tunis, North Africa

I have just finished (10 July 2015) the project "They stayed behind", the story of the temporary American GELA Cemetery on Sicily, where over 1,200 men and women have been buried between July 1943 and April 1947.

It is available on DVD. I have added a chapter "missing in action". You took a picture of the Wall of Missing and I would like to ask your permission to use the picture you took on my DVD. Of course you will be credited

thank you
