I haven't been there in a few years, but it was at the top of the hill next to the cemetery.

I do not know anything about John and Catherine Hayes, nor how they could be related to the Stumpfs. I also do not see any info with which I could speculate on a connection, under any spelling of the surname.
I'm sorry that I cannot help. T

How can I help you?
|Rick Tennant||RE: I was wondering where is John's Cemetery?|
Fairmont is the county seat of Marion County. I'm not sure which cemetery you are referring to.

The guy in the picture is his 5th great grandson David Sine
Was John Heis born Aug. 13, 1866? I've seen where you are trying to locate his parents...I will try to help if I can. On ancestry.com, you have his father as Lubke, but I don't think that is correct since Lubke was born abt 1860, according to the New York Passenger List that you have attached to him. I will see what info I can find. Unfortunately, I am not in Morgantown to photograph his headstone. That is my hometown but I no longer live there.

You are very welcome! That is my husband's family cemetery. We just buried his grandmother there last week. Please let me know if there is any other info you need. :)

Hello debi heis,
My husband and I went to the Domfriedhof today and looked for the graves people are searching for. Unfortunately we didn't find one. We did not see one grave where the person had died before 1900.
If you like I can contact the cemetery and see if they have any documentation.
