Bio and Links
Bio Photo We are David & Effie. We were born and raised in upstate South Carolina. I found Find A Grave in 2009 and now David has joined me in a search for our "lost" family members. We sincerely hope that along the way our contributions to this site will help others find theirs.

We wish to thank those who have made memorials for our family members and those who have transfered management of them to us. We especially want to thank those who have made the corrections we requested, as correct and complete data is the key to accomplishing our goals.

Our primary sources of information for our memorials, other than direct knowledge of burial, are grave marker photos and obituaries. We use these sources as backup for our entries, as we DO NOT make any without proof of burial location.

Our motto is... to err is human, and to correct is necessary. Please contact us if you find an error on our memorials or if you have missing information that we can add to make an appealing and honorable memorial. We will gladly correct any errors on our entries, make additions, add links or transfer memorials if they are not related to us. (please use the EDIT tab and make a suggestion option on the memorial for any request.)

We understand that a photo says more than a thousand words, and is a very important part of family research. It is our pleasure to offer our photos for personal genealogical purposes. You may re-post on Find A Grave if you will have the courtesy to give us credit in the caption of the photo. Otherwise, DO NOT RE-POST!

Everyone is welcome to visit and leave a flower for our immediate family members listed below or any of our memorials and once again, we wish to thank all of our Find A Grave friends who have done a wonderful job in helping preserve our heritage and making this a wonderful site.

Easter Thank You
In the event that I have not thanked you, personally, for the transfers that you have provided me with, I wish to do so at this time.

Didn't think that retirement and providing day care for my-now-5 month old Grandson would be so taxing, yet fun. It has allowed me some time to work on my genealogy project, and Find a Grave project, that you have been a tremendous help.

Happy Easter, be safe, have fun and Thank You.

Thanks for the beautiful memorial for my special cousin, Marvin. It is beautiful. I miss him... he gave me so much without knowing it. On his last visit to Missouri, he told me a lot about he and my father (they ran around together when young). I saw a side of my father that many children never have the privilege of seeing --- that their parents were once young!

Hello David and Effie
Received your messages about Hoopers and edits.
For some reason I have been unable to edit them as requested. My computer keeps freezing up, not sure why. Will keep trying. THANKS for the info and hopefully I will figure out what the problem is. Best regards!!

Bethel Congressional In Royston, franklin co. Ga.
thanks for the transfer of Lizzie Butler and Vonnie brooks. I have looked through the Madison Co. ga. Cemetery Book and have found listings for Some of my Baskins relatives that are buried out in the same cemetery as Lizzie Butler and was wondering if they had headstones they are Suga, Doan, William J Baskins whom is Lizzie's father her mother was Rhoda Phillips Baskins. Perhaps they are buried close to Lizzie and Vonnie. I was just wondering if when taking photos any of these names were found.I have them in my memorial and would like to add photos to these. Thanks Donna Jean Alewine Green.Any help would be greatly appreciated
