I took over after my Aunt Geraldine Martinez passed. This is all new to me but I have become addicted in finding where my family members rest. No one should be forgotten.|
I was born in Alexandria, Virginia and now resides in Florida.
I am researching, on my fathers side of the family, Rhodes, Walters, Wright & Brockman in Virginia. On my mothers side, Lytle, Channing, Hayden & Moore in Pennsylvania. And for my Grandchildren, Greene, Caudill. Hutchinson & Vallance's in Kentucky.
I have noticed that I am not the only one impatient with the tokens coming up and I end up with two. I found that if you click on the flowers it will take you to a link to delete the extra one. =)
I have also found a link to calculate birth dates, so when you only have a date of death & the headstone gives you their years it will give you the date of birth. http://longislandgenealogy.com/birth.html
I have met the most wonderful people with Find-a-Grave. What a great family we have here. Thank you all for doing what you do.
Everyone has been so generous with their photos that I would like to reciprocate. You may use my photos in you family trees. All I ask is for a thank you and recognition from whom you got them.
Happy Hunting =)
Strangers in the Box
By Pamela A. Harazim
Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still, serene.
I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like.
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where, when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday to be tossed away?
Make time to save your pictures,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.

Jo, This is a link that connects Wegman and Jerome Pletcher. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=57367898. Multiple marriages, illegitimacies, I don't really know the final answer.

I did not add either of these sons that have same dates and same wife. This may be an error and I have no way of changing this from the memorial. Only those who added the children's info can change their own information.Thank you for trying to help. sincerely, kcv

Yes, My aunt marge and uncle Dutch. Dutch was my father ( Raymond Franklin Whoolery) uncle. If you have any whoolery family history i would greatly appreciate anything you have. My father married my mom Peggy Sowden Whoolery on March 31st 1956.
I have been on a quest to find out if and how the two whoolery's who perished in the Mather Mine explosion on 1928 are related to me, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Melva you have a memorial for Nina Pearl Lytle Walker that has date of death as 1930. She is on the same stone as her second husband John P. Walker but her date of death is 1928. Do you know if this is the same person? Don't want to add the photo if it isn't. Kathi
|Reverend Larry||Dull Family|
I had a contact from Jake Dull a while back. He is my cousins Sydney's son. He is very interested in family genealogy. He gave me information regarding his grandfather and grandmother Earl and Lucille Dull, My Uncle and Aunt. He goes by "Kajedanimal" on Find a Grave. I'm very interested in the Dull line. I have some holes and things that just don't look right on my Dull Branch of my tree. I'm working on the Ledgerwood Line on my dad's side right now.
If you can or are willing, I would love to see what you have found and figured out.
it is just a Wow here.
Love you Cousin!
|Reverend Larry||Grace Dull|
I got an email this morning regarding my Great Aunt Grace Dull McCabe. I had set up two memorials for Grace and her Husband a while back, but did not know exactly where they were. A volunteer Wayne has set up and linked to their son. I have requested to take over management of them and if and when I take control, I will link to Great Grandpa and Grandma.
New link 113980012.
The Seattle Area (Possibly the entire NW US) is a little crazy with the Seahawk win of the Super Bowl. LOL
Hope all is well and in Joy!
Love and Light
