Bio Photo Transfers under the following guideline. I've learned a long time ago you can't please everyone and I'm not going to try. For you who like to break the rules, don't waste your or mine time. If your request is outside my guidelines, I will ignore and delate your request.

GUIDELINES:

Generation 1: your family -- Husband - wife - your children - son-in laws - daughter-in-laws - grandchildren.

Generation 2: your and spouse parents -- Father - Mother - aunts - uncles - 1st cousins - wives and hubands of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Generation 3: Grandparents - their siblings and their children -- huband and wife of siblings and children.

Generation 4: Great Gradparents - their siblings and their children - huband and wife of siblings and children.

NO transfers beyond the great-grandparents and NO transfers of Revolution Soliders or Civil War Soliders or Sailors.

This is a MUST!!! You have to tell me your RELATIONSHIP to the person you want transfered and PROVE if I shoud ask FOR proof. No relatonship...no transfer.

Don't waste my time with: I went school with...I do research for another person would you consider transfering...they were neighbors to my grandparents...I work with this person...they were my neighbors when I was a kid...just this once would consider breaking the rules...ect. ect. ect. If you are not related, forget it. My transfers go to family members who fall within the guide lines.

For you who think there should be no rules and should transfer every request that comes down the pipe, take it up with Find A Grave. They're the ones who set the rules. How many of you knows that a contributor does not have to do corrections or transfers. How many of you knows that Find A Grave have a Right to Privacy Act?

All a contributor has to do is to invoke this privacy act and the contributor will no longer receive any corrections or transfers e-mails. Find A Grave DOSE NOT demand corrections or tranfers be done. They ask contributors to consider doing them to improve memorials and provided more information for researchers.

CORRECTIONS: For you impatient persons who believe your request should be answered in a 24 hours period of time. Get Real! I may have 30 or 40 other requests before yours comes in. I do answered all corrections but it might take several day or weeks. I don't spent 24-7 at the computer. I know this is hard for you to believe but I do have a life outside the computer. I do have family and friends I spent time with, I have a part time job, yard ward, house keeping, grocery shopping, library research, visiting cemeteries for tombstones to photograph, searching cemeteries for requested tombstones and other chores that has to be do.

MY PERSONAL GOAL: My reason for joining Find A Grave is to presrve graves and their tombstones. That's where the bulk of my time on the computer goes, adding people and their tombstones. Corrections and tranfers are done when I can find extra time in the day. So if it takes me one or two months to answering your requests, so be it. Don't give me any guff, that if I can't keep up with the requests, I should transfer the memorials to someone who can. Get Real!! It won't happen!

Richard

Correction of FAG Memorial No. 47706922, George E. Ziers.
Mr. Parker,

Thanks for contributing my grandfather to the Find A Grave website.

When my grandfather died in 1964 he was married to his second wife, a woman named Grace. Unfortunately, Grace failed to provide the monument company who engraved my grandfather's inscription the correct year of birth for him. She submitted the year of birth as "1891" when it was actually "1892."

I am sure that "1892" is the correct year of George's birth because that is the birth year that is recorded on his Delayed Certificate of Birth on file in, either Iowa where he was born, or Missouri where he was living at the time of his application of this Delayed Certificate of Birth. In fact, I have the actual Photostat of the original on file in one of these two states. If necessary I can email you or Find A Grave an image of this Photostat. My email address is ralz8163@aol.com, and thank you.

There is a duplicate memorial #(121437498) for Phoebe Belding, I personally think there should be only one memorial for each person, some may not agree. Consider this note an FYI, any further action is up to you.

RE: William Baker
No one seems to want to go into Liberty. I have family buried there, and I'm the only one who ever goes ....too many ticks! I put out flags for Memorial Day. That's why I asked Alan Sparks if I could use his photos from their website. I only added this one for Mr. Baker because I thought it was a bit easier to read. Thanks.

You have these people listed under Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, Cass County, Missouri, USA but you might find they are buried in Rosebank Cemetery, Mulberry, Kansas. There are two entries for John and Lucy there by people I don't know. One is quite extensive. I have visited these grave sites myself as they are related through my mother's side.

I have a photo of the gravestone and it is exactly of the one you have for Freeman Cemetery.

I found this connection via Ancestry.com and thought it might be one I worked on. Just thought you might want to know.

Thanks,

John A. Horn

RE: LaVerne Smith
Thank you so much for the information, which is fascinating, and very helpful.

LaVerne and I are 3rd cousins. Her father Kirby was the son of Othena Craig Morgan (memorial n. 50884990), who was the daughter of John Craig (memorial n. 46265125). Othena's sister, Annie Irah Craig(memorial n. 26766092), was my grandfather Odra Lusby's (memorial n. 130485698) mother.

I came across the name 'Ruckdeschel' in Kirby's obituary.

I am especially interested in the fact that Ethel and her sister married two brothers. That makes mapping a family tree very complicated indeed!

Thank you again for the information,
Joan
