My husband and I are both retired and enjoy researching family. We have photographed many grave markers in the Southeast and are willing to help others who want pictures of their ancestors' graves. Our families are names Blankenship, Cameron, Ellison, Whitman, Bolan, and Mitchell plus other related families. Both of us were born and grew up in Alexander City, AL where we still live. We have 4 sons and 11 grandchildren.|

She died in 1866 not 1966 - appears to be a typo.

Thank you so much for posting the info on Floyd R. Thompson and the great picture of his sister, Shelby Jean Thompson Voss, marker. I am grateful for the information listed with each memorial.

I was researching this family and saw your memorial listing his children. It would be nice if you listed his son, Warren H Blankenship, who died in WWII. Warren was born 4 Feb 1921 and died 19 Mar 1945. He is listed on the memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii as either missing in action or buried at sea. In doing some more research on him, he was on the USS Bataan and was killed during a battle near Japan

I've added a Note regarding conflict with dates. Thank you again for the great photos and for the suggestions. Most of all, thank you for the photos you have added.
May your sunrises and sunset be long and productive.
