Bio Photo Vermilion County Saving Graves is part of the international Saving Graves project (www.savinggraves.org). The Vermilion County chapter of Saving Graves is dedicated to providing leadership, education and advocacy in preserving and restoring endangered and forgotten cemeteries in Vermilion County and surrounding areas in east central Illinois and west central Indiana.

I've always loved cemeteries; there's something very poignant, yet so very hopeful about them. I am happy to share any photos I have; I usually have higher resolution photos than the ones posted, so if there is one you would like, please e-mail.

Simon Peter Starr
Hi,
I am researching the Starr family for a descendant and found odd info on Peter's memorial. It says he was married 3 times and lists the wives, but doesn't list the one he is linked to, Nancy E. Davis. Can you help clear up my confusion? thanks!

Lesa - Thanks so much for trudging in the snow and braving the awful weather to take the photos of Sarah's tombstone. All of them were just great. Well done!
