My Mom's Birth-Mother
Hi Joanne, do you know whether Janet ever lived in Kansas? It's an off-chance, but I'm helping my mom look for her birth mother. Her adoptive mother died last year, and she's looking for her biological family. Any info you might have, is welcome! Every red herring down is one closer to success. Thanks!

William D Vanhorn
Did he and his father play the fiddle? I have an old fiddle signed by Wm D Vanhorn, and an older signature of unreadable Vanhorn dated July 2, 1849. It was a good German fiddle - not Sears and Roebuck! Barbara Tynes Claiborne
