I try to make everyone's memorial as accurate as possible. Information is usually obtained from obituaries but sometimes through Ancestry.com or personal or family knowledge when available.|
Please send all transfer requests & corrections via the EDIT tab. I do not transfer entire cemeteries. Please explain your relation to the person when requesting a transfer. If the person is a relative of mine, I will not transfer. Sorry.
When corresponding with me, I ask that you be nice and courteous as I do not respond well to nastiness!!!If I have made an error, I promise you it is not intentional and I will gladly correct it.
I try to get all corrections done in a timely manner, but I am currently working on my Master's degree in History Education. I am also a full time single mom of two young boys so bear with me, my time is very limited these days. Thanks!
Also with the new system I don't get all of the notifications or emails so if I do not respond in a few days, you may want to send me another message. Thanks.

|Holly Huxford||Misspelling of Cecil D. Huxford Orvin's Page|
I am a relative of Cecil D Huxford Orvin; I'm a Huxford.
On the page you created for her, you have, across the top, her name spelled Cecile D Huxford Orvin.
Her first name is not spelled with an 'e' at the end. It is Cecil.
You can even see how her name is spelled on the gravestone picture.
Just thought I'd let you know and ask you to update it to the correct spelling.

Would you transfer her memorial to me? Thank you!
|Lynda "Runyon-Frum" Moberg||Catherine Grice|
I do not see another memorial for her. I checked under her name and my memorial is the only one that shows up.
|LeAnna Oliver||RE: Nettie Gowder|
No, her maiden name was Wilkins. Her first husband was a Williams (deceased) and then she married again and his name was Walter Gowder. I have found her parents. They are Mamie Wilkins and "One Way" William Wilkins at
Thank you! I am sorry for the late reply.
|Kenneth Clark||RE: Emilie Blackmore Stapp|
Thanks. I think she's famous, having written a number of books and for trying to make the world a better place. The folks at the University of Southern Mississippi, where her papers are located, are doing a bit to resurrect her history, which is great to see. Thanks again for the great memorial page.

Great memorial for Emilie Blackmore Stapp. My cousin published the first edition of her book The Trail of the Go-Hawks. Are you by chance related to Ms. Stapp?
