Ancestors & relatives never really go away, they get buried, cremated or vaulted in a sacred place for us to visit and remember. After all, where would we be without our ancestors? As much as it hurts to lose a loved one, we must be thankful for the time we had together. These memorials in FIND A GRAVE are growing by a million a month and make it easier for the world to find & see the memorials of their loved ones. Through these memorials, they live on.
Passionate is an understatement, Genealogy & Cemeteries are a big part of my life. Have 40 years of sometimes obsessive research under my belt.
Genealogically I picked up where my Grandfather and his father left off. I specialize in Madison County, NY and surrounding areas and Warren County, NY. If you find your relative in my memorials and would like transfers or to add bios, or corrections let me know. All my photos are free for distribution.
Though it feels like "good-bye", we know that in reality, for those of us who have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ it is merely, "see-you-later"

With a transfer, I can update with additional info for Willis Rickard:
Thanks again for your help -- I'll continue to work on finding out more on the Kimball-Chesebro connection before I change my rootsweb database. I'm stuck on the fact that Truman Kimball is said to be the last of 10 children (leaving openings for the two girls, Lucy and Laura, as his sisters). Stay warm, we're headed toward freezing tonight. Sincerely, Kathy (#47225156)
Though I'm a Chesebro descendant, I was working on the Kimball line because no one else seemed to be. Sadly, I can't afford an Ancestry membership. The more I look at things, I'm thinking you are probably right (AGAIN!!). As John's sisters, they'd still be his heirs and it seems the real estate holdings were the chief concern of the probate entry I have. You're right, Andrew, I'm a tremendous fan of yours! You've been a great person to have met and have helped me a lot. Sincerely, Kathy
|Margaret Sopp||Sarah Matteson|
Thank you so much for taking the photos at Welsh Church Union Cemetery in Nelson, NY for the Matteson family. The stones for George, Clarissa and Sophronia are wonderfully preserved. The photo for Sarah not so much. Can you read the dates on Sarah's tombstone? I've fooled around with the contrast, but I just can't pick up on the dates. She is my husband's ancestor.

Andrew, if you happen back to Joseph's marker at Morrisville Rural, could you clear his marker off a little so we can see it ? Don't get me wrong I appreciate your work,just would like a better shot.

Those were the first photos I had ever saw of her. Thank you for posting them. Her son Walter Frank was my great great grandfather and I had seen a photo of him but none of his parents or any generation before him.
I was wondering if you had any photos of her parents and if her husband was in any of the photos you have? If so I would love to see them.

Seen your name on some memorials you added here, so wanted to let you know I attached some photos of your entries. I am the volunteer photographer for this area. I was looking for some others, but happen to be related to Dunhams so snapped their photos not realizing you had already done some.

thanks Andrew. Keep watching, because I've been spending quite a bit of time at Fort Plain filling requests so I've been adding Brookmans as I go. Any other people you are looking for give me some names. Fort Plain is very large, random and the caretaker won't help.

Send an email to info at findagrave.com with links to the memorials and the correct cemetery and we'll get it fixed. Thanks.
|Kiely Malone||Thank You|
I just wanted to say thank you for taking time out of your day to take my family members' photo for me. Your time and kindness was greatly appreciated.
