My dad was the rock in the family and when we lost him, my life changed so drastically, it honestly threw me for a loop. My younger brother Brian, and myself looked to dad for guidance and trust. It was really hard to have that taken away. 'Ol dad was always there. He was always able to guide us, and he helped us in so many ways. I can't count the times that I went over to my dad's house, (which is now my own), to ask him for a small loan to get me by. He would "give me the talk" and then he'd get out his wallet. Dad was my hero in so many ways.

Thank you to all who have left tokens, flowers or comments on my dad's memorial. Your kindness and love is very much appreciated. <3

1 more thing, thank you Mr. Donnie McConnell, for being my friend and the 1 person who held my hair when I needed you. Forever will I always cherish you. I love you.

Sarah Lynn Holley
Got a photo request from Patricia O (#47113049)for a photo of Sarah's grave marker. I discovered that she is not buried in the Elliott-Hamil cemetery, she is instead buried in the Elwood cemetery (just across the street). She is in the Garden of Memories, lot 244D. I will send you an edit request through the normal channels. I just wanted to give you a heads-up.

request for Grave Transfer?
Hello,

I am the grand daughter of George A Pearce 1885 -1937 who is buried at Abilene Municipal Cemetery. You are currently the manager of his grave. In order to get the relationships correct & provide a bio I would like to manage this grave if you do not mind relinquishing it to me.

Thank you,
