|Vonda Dihm||James Davis Avery Cemetery|
Just today found your edit requests for James Davis in Avery Cemetery in Crawford Co., MO. Delighted to have the info you sent and am wondering if you have any information on the children of James Davis and wife Jane A. Huskey that you could share. I am trying to prove that James and wife Jane A. Huskey are the parents of my husband's great grandfather James K. Polk Davis who was born in Crawford Co., Missouri in 1842. I believe he is the James K. age 18 who is living in the household with James Davis and his second wife in 1860. Appreciate any info you might be able to share. Sorry for the delay in taking care of the edit requests. I had company and did not log on while they were here.
|Richard Rieck||McCloud grave #77093922|
On May 20, 1852, Chester Smith of Jackson, Michigan was en route to California on the St. Joseph Road and noted in his diary "Came past one grave this afternoon, man from Newark, Indiana, McCloud by name." This was just about where "Bev" puts the Strahm farm. So McCloud was killed on or before May 20, 1852 or at least three years before what was posted. Just thought you'd like to know.

Absolutely! I'm not sure how I managed to duplicate the memorials, but I will delete the extras. Thanks for the heads-up!
|migente||"Jacob Jackson Humphries"|
Hello, due to a mistake in a newspaper article my GGGrandfather Jacob Jackson Humphries has been entered as "John". His name appears correctly in other accounts of the Mier Expedition as well as in the Republic of Texas claims. His wife was Josephine Barnes Tustin (her second marriage - first husband was Isaac Tustin) and they had two daughters that I know of, Jana and Josephine. Thank you for your service and the gift of your time in maintaining these memorials!

Per your transfer request for Melinda (Springer) Beckham, are you a SPRINGER descendant? I have a question for you if you are, if you'd email me :)
|Fred Saar||Phebe Schellinger Sandford|
Do you have a source for that suggested birth date? The sources I find all say 'About 1737' and as such does not fit for Findagrave.
|Benae Williams||Thank you|
Thank you for adding the photo to memorial #135539235 (Barry George). It adds a lot to the memorial. Thank you for taking the time to do so.
Hope you have a great day!
Please know that I did put in edits as I was loading photos with spelling issues or any other information that would help.
You are welcome to use any photos that I take for your family research. Please just note the source. Thank you.
