I'm a longtime local resident and Rindge (NH) Historical Society member and volunteer, past president and current BOD. Volunteer research assistant in local history matters and genealogy at RHS museum. A Civil War buff, and a fairly decent knowledge of local cemeteries from knowing lots of people in them.
I've had a life long interest in history. I became a member of my home town historical society when I was 11. I was one of those kids that wrote essays for entry in those D.A.R. contests to win that $25.00 savings bond, won a few as well.
Cemetery trips started way back then too. Visiting the local cemeteries with relatives to find grandparents, great grandparents was an annual event. This led to trips all over New England with extended family for reunions and more cemetery trips and visits to a lot of dusty archives and libraries. This was all before the internet. How things have changed.
My goal here is to plug away as I can with my own family and work away at the local cemeteries I know best, they are loaded with Rev. War vets and Civil War vets that have not been remembered here yet. And to help out others as I can with photos or information about their projects.
Ken
BTW, feel free to use my photographs and don't hesitate to contact me about a memorial I've created, with additional info or whatever! | |

 | Dr Stephen Jewett - Find A Grave Memorial# 88657647 Dear Bill
I have just sponsored the memorial on Find A Grave for:
Dr Stephen Jewett - Find A Grave Memorial# 88657647
I sponsor all the memorials that I am researching
Would you consider transferring this to me and I will add more information and an image or two to your already excellent research.
As you probably know, your name would remain on the memorial as the one who created it.
I am a medical & dental historian and retired director of the National Museum of Dentistry (see my bio and some of the physicians and dentists I am working on.)
I am just researching practitioners that I have artifacts from.
If you are not comfortable with a transfer - I can put the images up and send you the information to add.
Thank you for considering a transfer
Ben

 | RE: Elizabeth Carlton I understand and do thank you again. I do a close up of the grave for the my family trees to help clarify errors for others without the benefit of photos. The warmth of communicating can be lost on the page. You do very well on that and you are so kind to take time to answer. That is so nice! | | | Deanna Bolen
 | Carlton photos The photos are great. Thanks so much for the time you gave for this event. It is clear to read.

 | RE: James B. Perry No problem at all. I took pictures of all the grave stones on this family plot and uploaded them to their respective memorials. 6 in total, one being James Alfred Perry (maybe his father?)who was buried at sea and fought in the Spanish-American War.Added by ckg on Jun 11, 2012 4:05 PM | | | ckg
 | 47924273 Perry Please ignore my message/problem I made in error on this memorial. It was meant for a different person. I am going out today to take the photo. Thanks!Added by ckg on Jun 11, 2012 8:47 AM | | | J.G. WHIPPLE

 | Enos Lake Memorial# 87335309 Hi Ken,
I am working on the Enos Lake obelisk at Topsfield, Massachusetts and I was wondering if you could clarify any of the info on my Enos' memorial [the son of the subject Enos], son's # 89272487. There exist many discrepancies in documentation on the memorial that I have created as noted on my memorial. If you have no info clarifying the discrepancies I have found, thank you for taking the time to look at this. He is the son of Enos and Prudence.
