my husband came home from his aun'ts home one day he handed me an 1886 family album presented to a woman named Emma,in the album were many pictures and a few obituaries, in the front of her album in the index page were names of all her family members,Emma had no names on any of her pictures i was curious about the family so i went on a seach to find them, the first place i searched was online where i was lead to find a grave search,this is why i joined,i found Emma's family cemetery here online, i visited my husbands aun't to ask for the directions to the haynes family cemetery, I took a visit to the cemetery located on the land the haynes once lived,my husbands aun't age of 93yrs never mentioned that they were family from her first husband,my husband had been helping his aunt throw away alot of old things out her attic which lightning had struck,everything was to go to the dump,hubby was told he could pick out anything he wanted,among the things he brought home the album.I'm searching also SUR NAMES-LOVING-SEAL-Barlow-SouthWorth-Vaughan-Chenault(Chinault),TAYLOR-PARKER-Bruce-Tignor-Spindle-Pitts-Brooks-Allport(Alport)-Shuman-Haynes-Collins-Thomas-Motley-Allen-Carter-WHITEFIELD-Wighton-Wilson-Marshall-MCNUTT(Mcnitt)-Moore-Thomson-Davidson-Hudnall(Hudnull)-Hart-Buckley-Bailey-Midcap-Stanley-Pyles(Piles)Huntington-Lemaster(Lamasters)-Blake,Provo-Mingus.I have most the family nailed down as far back as the 1800's between the PARKERS & LOVINGS & SEALS,they pretty much stayed in one area,still i not find where they immagrated originally from.I know the WHITEFIELDS originally Immagrated from SCOTTLAND on my side of the family,the MCNUTTS Immagrated from Ireland.|

|Grave History||Mildred Loving|
I apologize for not thanking you earlier. It's been a hectic time. It makes me sad that Mildred doesn't have a permanent headstone and it's been 6 years since she passed. She and her husband are important to the history of our country.
Thanks for going out there.

I was wondering if I could add your picture of them to my ancestry page? Carroll Gayle #46999003
and Mattie B Gayle #46998857. Thanks

|donbraffitt||Barlow Cemetery in Shumansville, Caroline County, VA|
I wanted to visit Barlow Cemetery and Mount Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery in Shumansville, Caroline County, VA this Wed. Can you give me directions from Mount Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery to Barlow Cemetery? I don't have a street address for Barlow Cemetery.
Thanks for any help.
Hello, I married into the Cresswell family which is from Huntingdon. My Mary Cresswell married your William McNutt. I have a huge binder that I got off of my aunt Elizabeth Cresswell Campbell. It was given to her from a relative that did her research by visiting the cemeteries and court houses, etc. I was hoping to get it on ancestry before my father n law passed from pancreatic cancer. On u tube is a video of Jerry Cresswell called cancer saved my life. It is his life story and extremely touching. I watch it time to time to hear his sweet caring voice. His favorite thing to say was hey babe, what cha doing. It was a year June 2nd. That he has been gone. Since going through the book, I have added much more. He gave me a book published in 1888. The history of Mercer County, Pa. I'm finding 90% is all family. On both my husbands side. I hope to hear back as I see we have a lot in common as the family's combine. Thank you, Gwen Mueller Cresswell
|Joe Wagovich||Find cemetery in Woodford VA|
My grandparents, Joseph A. and Anna Wagovich, are buried in a Catholic cemetery near Woodford, VA, where they lived on a farm most of their lives. I visited the cemetery with my now-deceased father back in the 1990s, but I couldn't find it again if I tried. From the photos, I would bet it was St. Cyril and Methodius cemetery. They both attended St. Mary's, a small Catholic mission church in Woodford. Grandpa died on 10 Apr 1974, and Grandma on 17 Jun 1968. They were living in Bowling Green but were interred in the same Woodford area cemetery, as were their Slovak neighbors. Their names do not show up in the Find A Grave list of those buried at the St. Cyril and Methodius cemetery, but perhaps they were overlooked. Can you tell me the location of the cemetery, and some weekend we will drive down and look?

I fulfilled a photo request for Claretta Buckley but I am going to delete my photo from her memorial. When I uploaded the photo I didn't realize Gandeeman60 had already attached a photo to her memorial on 01 July 2013. His looks better because it has green grass. I just took my photos recently and the grass still looks brown. :-)
|Ray Moore||TTransfer Maintenance of Memorial|
Anna, I have requested that maintenance of my grandparents memorials be transferred to me, but haven't heard anything. I hope all is well and that you will be able to help. Thanks, Ray Moore
I have a picture of two adult men. It was sent to me by one of my Parker relatives but she did not know either of them. Would like to be able to identify them. Thanks-Barbara
Daniel (Dickie) Vaughn here, FInd-a-Grave mbr #47933768.
While entering Vaughan family memorials for the Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery, News Ferry, Halifax Co., VA I came across your interest in the Vaughan/Vaughn surname.
We are hoping to connect with Vaughan cousins that can help with early Virginia Southside information. Our Vaughan/Vaughn history "indicates" that we descend from an area south of Richmond but we have no "real" information. So far I have traced my:
5G-Gfather - William T Vaughan (Julia Green and Mildrage Gregory)
4G-Gfather - John Vaughan (Amelia Jones)
3G-Gfather -William Vaughan/Vaughn (Elizabeth Wall and Sarah Griffin) *All records in VA has named spelled Vaughan, after moving to TN all records have their name spelled Vaughn.
GG-Gfather - Stephen Peter Vaughan/Vaughn (Nancy Ann Glasscock)
all four generations of Mecklenburg Co., VA,. However, William T may have moved here from Chesterfield or Prince George Co., VA.
William and Sarah (Griffin) Vaughan moved to Giles Co., TN in the mid 1840's, as did Stephen and five other of William's sons; Charles H, Samuel David, Edward Owen, John and Theophilus. We know that my Vaughan clan lived in the Buffalo Springs area of Mecklenburg Co.. While in Boydton, VA last year we found an old map that showed the Vaughan, Griffin, Glasscock, Green and Overby families all living close to one another in that area. Was wondering if you knew of any old family graveyards in that area that had early Vaughan ancestor graves?
Thank you for all any consideration and your work with FInd a Grave. Please let us know if we can ever assist with photos or information the Middle Tennessee area.
Yours, possibly a Cousin,
Daniel and Carolyn Vaughn
