Tanya holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, and Depth Psychology), and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology (Political & Global Analysis, Social Inequality & Public Policy, and Environment & Technology), and was inducted into the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels in 2015 for her philanthropic work. Tanya has one daughter, Britney Lynn Micalah Hurst-Weatherholtz born 12/15/1989, and two grandsons, Elijah Dale Herald and Parker Daniel Richards.
