|Rachael Williams Litten||George Washington Tingler|
I was interested to know if you are related to George Washington Tingler (findagrave #20397525)? I am his 4th great granddaughter, and I would be interested in having his page transferred to me, unless you are also related.
In either case, thank you for creating a page in his memory.
There are 2 memorials for same man, yours(2007) was the first at Oakwood, but yours doesn't link any of his children & the other one does have the children linked, 93332654, At Greenwood, I may have the Mem #'s mixed up but they're for the same man. thanks

Hi Scott, I was hoping you would be able to transfer my 3x great grandfather John Walton over to me. His memorial is #20330448. I had been curious as to why he is buried in the Campbell Family Cemetery and recently learned of my lineage to him through my Grandmother.
Thank you for your consideration,
Thank you again for the transfers! I really appreciate it a lot!!
|John Henry Armstrong||Lancelott Armstrong|
Am not sure whether you are active still or not; these Armstrongs appear to be "filtering in" to the Henry County area from Georgia. Lancelott (Armstrong) was my gr-grandfather and ended up in Washington County, near Chatom, sometime after 1856. He was in the civil war. . .married my gr-grandmother Nancy Jane (Hill) Armstrong over there. As I say, both wound up in the Chatom area, where my grandfather, John Hiram Armstrong was born in the 1860's.
Having trouble finding out anything on Lancelott going further back than 1856, when he married Nancy Jane. (She was originally from Duplin County, N.C.). Sometime he went by Lotte, L.L. & other related names.
I see where you have numerous "Armstrongs" there in and around Abbeville. . .but have not been able to "tie" my Lancelott to any one of them. As best as I can tell, he was born Aug. 24, 1827, but I cannot determine his linage from over there.
John Henry Armstrong, retired Probate Judge, Washington County, email@example.com.
Thank you for the transfer! I really appreciate it a lot!

Great to find your memorial here so let me complete some information if you can please update:
William J Thornhill
His wife was Elizabeth E (Lillard) Thornhill and they were married in 1850, Madison County Virginia.
His widow had filed a pension request and stated he was in Company G 4th Va Calvary and that he had died in a hospital in Richmond. His date of death was written as Jn 1862 so I don't know if that was June or January. Appreciate your effort and it was awesome to find this information.
