RE: THANK YOU
I might be able to get out that way and see if I can find the Leightons, but I'm sorry that I can't make a promise to. Why not put in photo requests? I know there is a volunteer currently taking a lot of pictures there even though some of the photo requests are pretty old.

I set up about half the memorials in Mt. Pleasant from a cemetery register and unfortunately no section or lot number is shown for these graves. I did find on the register that the cause of death for Eliza was acute coronary insufficiency and for Theodore artersclerotic heart disease if this is of interest. Howard's cause of death is not shown.

I don't see a death notice for Howard. You may wish to check fultonhistory.com for other news articles on the family.

Good luck with your research!

Leightons in Mt. Pleasant
Hi,
I think I've made all of the additions to the Leighton memorials that you suggested and I also linked Howard to his parents. I'm very pleased to hear these memorials helped you find lost family members.

RE: cemetery name correction
Hi George,
I don't know what happened there, but somehow the misspelled name has been miraculously corrected. I thought you had done it. Thank you anyway for checking it out. Much appreciated!

cemetery name correction
Hi George,

I'm back again. Thank you for your kind Mother's Day wishes.

Since you have been working with findagrave for some time, perhaps you can answer this question. I added a new cemetery and accidentally mis-typed its name. I've gone through various screens and the FAQs, and I can't figure out how to make a correction in a cemetery name. I went to Discussion Forums where I can see other people's entries, but I don't know how to add my own question. Any hints?

Thanks.

RE: Wm Darrow linkage to wives
Thank you very much, George. No, I do not live near Waterford. I live in NJ, but I have visited the Mullen Hill Cemetery a couple of times. In fact I have left flowers by the graves of William Darrow, his wives (Sally & Mary), and his son Rodman Chauncey Darrow (inscribed only R.C.) whose graves are next to William's. Rodman's son William Chauncey Darrow is buried in Dayville, CT where I have visited. Thanks to findagrave, I have recently learned of the grave of Rodman's other son Dr. Charles W. Darrow in Jordan Cemetery in Waterford. I will be sure to stop there on my next visit to the New London area.
It is a wonderful thing you are doing - - placing the flags at the graves of our veterans.
Thank you again.

RE: Wm Darrow linkage to wives
Thanks, George. Whatever you prefer to do about William Darrow's memorial is fine with me. I would be happy to be responsible for his memorial, but if you feel some connection to him and would like to continue as the responsible party, that is O. K. too. Your choice!

RE: Wm Darrow linkage to wives
Hi George,
I think you added William Darrow's wives just perfectly! Thank you for doing that.
William happens to be my great-great-great-grandfather, and he's the one I used as my Revolutionary War ancestor to join the DAR.

I did notice that you seem to have two entries for him on the findagrave site. The best one (44079802) has his dates and his son Rodman listed.
The other one (69436459) is not as complete. Maybe you'd like to remove that one.

Thanks for all the work you have done at the Mullen Hill Cemetery and especially for putting out those flags. Much appreciated!

Wm Darrow linkage to wives
Hi George,

I am writing about my g-g-grandfather William Darrow (#44079802).
Would it be possible for you to link him to his two wives?

Mary Darrow - #60318736
Sally Darrow - #60318746

Thanks.
