I am from Perth, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada, and I've been an amateur genealogist since 1991. I think this site is an excellent idea and plan to contribute what I can to it. If you notice any errors in the memorials I have submitted, or if you would like to add a bio to a memorial, please contact me.|

|CB||Bustard and Leslie|
Just wanted to let you know that Margaret Leslie (who married Adam Bustard, 128581565) and Matilda Leslie (who married Arthur Bustard, 146173879) are sisters to my great grandfather David Leslie (145059266). I have the Leslie Family Bible in my care. In the Bible there is a picture of the "Bustard Sisters".

Robert Henry Love is my 5x Great Grandfather. Was wondering about your source info for Robert's parents being Robert Love & Elizabeth Lockhart and his birth date and place being as you listed. I have his parents, birth, and birth place listed as James Love & Marion Killan (or Cullen), 21 Sep 1781 Barony, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Hi, Thanks for the info on Albert Cecil Rhodes and his wife Annie C. Riddell. They are my grandparents I never knew. Also, they had 15 children, I have all of their names if you would like to list them. I never knew any of them, I was born out of wedlock, my Dad, their son, was William Rhodes. I did not meet him until I was 19 or so. I was his only child. My Dad gave me some family info, but I didn't get enough info before he passed away. I've been able to trace my maternal Acadian ancestors very far back, but this was my first info I have found on my Dad's side.

I have an old (original) photo of 2 little girls sitting on either side of the grave of Hugh & Elizbeth Weir. Would you know who the little girls are?
(I think the photos were acquired in an estate sale..)
FYI the headstones in France for Gordan and Carmen Molyneaux are now on their memorial pages in case you are interested. You had helped me find obits for that family, so thought that you might be interested. Thanks!

I just realized I need to ask you for permission to use your photo for my on-line and personal family tree. Could you email me if it is all right to do so. I have been taking some grave memorial pictures also as a volunteer and I finally added a blanket permission on my bio page - made life easier.
I would love to visit Lanark, Ontario, but I live in Southern California so it's not just a hop, skip and a jump away. If I do maybe we can meet - you probably are a great source of genealogical information on the area. I am a McLean by birth and I have tracked my 2nd Great-grandfather James McLean to have been born in Dalhousie in 1830 and living in Lanark in 1850.
Hope to hear back from you. My regular email is LMCGUE@YAHOO.COM.

Gary...I'm also wondering if you would be willing to transfer Patrick McDonnell's memorial to me. He is the brother of Catherine McDonnell Kane and my great grandfather, John McDonnell. Thanks!
|Amy Nichols||Catherine Kane|
I am wondering if you would be willing to transfer Catherine McDonnell Kane's memorial to me? She is the sister of my great grandfather and I would love to connect her to her family. Or if you'd rather keep it, could I please send you the information and have you add it for me?
I sent you a long email regarding my Grandmother's history. Thank You. Laureen

Hi Gary, I much prefer to transfer memorials to family rather than making links. I am not related to the vast majority of the people whose names I have entered so reuniting families just makes sense to me.
Thank you for reading my bio and spotting the bit about Lyme. I brought the disease home as a souvenier of a trip to East Germany in 07! Alberta has finaly admitted that the disease has been found in ticks here, but it is still hard to find a knowlegeable Dr. I go to a Dr in Seattle WA. Please let your brother in law know my thoughts are with him.
