At the young age of 32, I have quickly become a very experienced genealogist. I absolutely love findagrave. In my opinion, findagrave is in the top 3 most important genealogy websites on the internet. I love traveling to visit cemeteries, and am willing to help anyone who asks. Some of my direct ancestors include: William Horace Hobson (1817-1867) of Fayette Co. TN, Rev. Robert Venable Taylor (1822-1919) of Fayette Co. TN, J.D.C. Stark (1819-1895) of Greene Co. OH, Samuel A. McDermott (1841-1897) of Knoxville TN, James White (1747-1821) founder of Knoxville TN, Woodard Bardin (1800-1867) of Wayne Co. NC, Daniel Alexander (1800-1852) of Russell Co. VA, Benjamin Dawson (1785-1850) of Kershaw Co. SC, William Hardy Hill (1821-1867) of Neshoba Co. MS, Eli Monroe Martin (1821-1874) of Hinds Co. MS, James Monroe Ayers (1852-1915) of Lafayette Co. MS, Capt. James Waldrop (1734-1799) of Newberry SC, Edward Hughes of Charleston SC, Gen. Joseph Hutton of Abbeville SC, Moses Peden (1787-1855) of Kemper Co. MS, John Thorne (1828-c1880) of Smith Co. |William Prentiss Clark||Need Help|
Hello Mr Hobson,
If you are near the Cemeteries or a cemetery in Silver City. I have a Brother that was killed in a house fire buried somewhere near there. Willie Carson Clark, He was about 11 years old, died either in late 1942 or early 1943.
If any idea or any way to locate a grave for him would certainly be a great help.
All my older siblings are dead that would know of where he might be buried. But was in area there, I have an older sister that was born in May 1943 in Silver City, MS// The fire was while mother was pregnant with her, that is why I think the same place he must have been buried.
I hope that you help or anything or anyone beens this is a publice message .

I was delighted today to find the memorial you created for my mother's closest friend, Emma Jonietz Pepper. Are you friends with the family or possibly related?
|Setex Steve||Wallace and Ruby Sturdivant|
I was over at this cemetery today in Lake Charles. The guy in the office looked for Wallace and Ruby Sturdivant and said that they had no record of either being buried at that cemetery. I looked for an obit for either one of them and couldn't find an obit thinking that it would specify the cemetery in the obit.
Same issue for Robert Wilson in Greenlawn. Office couldn't find a burial record for a Robert Wilson and I couldn't find an obit.
|Setex Steve||3 Photo Requests in my area|
Just doing a random review of photo requests in my neck of the woods and noticed that you have 3 that I can probably get for you: Robert Wilson (Greenlawn Memorial Park 0 Port Arthur, TX), Wallace and Ruby Sturdivant in Lake Charles, LA. Try to get them this week sometime.

As a photographer I take the photos. You provide the information. As a favor I tried to get the section number and lot number which all requesters are suppose to provide. There are four Woodlawn cemeteries in Dade County. Two were founded in 1912, South in 1965 and West in 1995. I do only Woodlawn North.

The dates were not legible to me. That marker is weathered very heavily. I could clearly make out the name but thats it.

Bobby, I looked for this grave site at Sand Hill Cemetery in Jones County, MS and was unable to find it. It may be in either Perry County or Greene.
|Rick O||William T. Bryan, Jr memorial|
