Thank you. After 3 marriages who would have guessed she came back home to be buried in her parents family plot.

Faulkner Photo Request
You will see that we have accepted your photo request for Dorothy Eveline Faulkner. Her name is actually recorded in a book of remembrance with 4 other people. I am sure you will know how they are related. Perhaps you have memorials created already. If so, please put in a photo request so we can upload the photos we have taken for you. If you have not created the other people and end up doing so, please put in a photo request and we will fill it. If you aren't interested in the other people, please let us know and we will create them. Thanks,'becca

Thomas Justus
Thanks so much for emailing about the memorial that I created for Thomas Justus. While my memorial (# 114066428), was not the duplicate that you said it was, it did bring my attention back to the memorial so that I could add more information that was not available the day the memorial was created. The duplicate memorial was the memorial that was created 6 months later (# 123390258). Thanks.

Martha W. Cook interment location
George & Mata Cook had a daughter, Martha W. Cook, b.abt. Jul 1908, d.30 Aug 1933 at Woodward, Iowa. Have been unable to locate a memorial for her. Mata Cook had passed three years earlier and is interred in Fairview. Seems very plausible Martha was buried in a family plot by her mother. Can you point me in the direction of who to contact that keeps the burial records for Fairview in Terril? Thanks in advance for your help. Regards, Rod Cook, Newark, OH

I am interested in contacting anyone researching the ancestry this family, particularly through his mother, JOENKS. Ellen Amelia LINDLEY married Gus Joenks, and Ellen is my specific family if interest. I am always willing to share the information I have on Ellen, her siblings, and her father's lineage. Her mother and aunt, Eliza SHAW Lindley and Harriet SHAW HARRIS. (Suspected connection to Dan B. SHAW) are my brick wall, out of the Quad Cities, Davenport Scott County mostly, Iowa.

RE: Mary Jane Sayers Justus
Herman H Justus was born in Prussia, Germany in 1844, entered the USA in the late part of 1865, married Dina Kuhlman in Hamilton Ohio on Feb, 1868, had Herman Justus Jr. in 1870, moved to Kenton KY that same year. By 1880 he was alone and living in Indiana. He lists himself as Widowed, but I believe it may actually be a divorce. There is no sign of Wife Dina or son Herman Jr, but both Herman's appear in rural Oklahoma by 1900. Herman H. Justus married Mary Jane Sayer (Boyles) by 1903 and Herman Jr married Martha Kendall by 1896. Herman Jr. died of a heart attack in 1907 while delivering mail. Herman and Mary are living with Mary's daughter (now Robinson) in Olklahoma in 1920. Mary passed away in 1928 (in Missouri) and Herman Sr. some time befor (in Oklhahoma).

DNA shows a TN line of Justus, but I do not know for certain if they are related to Herman since other surnames are also in common. I imagine he would have had relatives in the USA, but have not heard any stories. Herman Sr. and Mary did not have any children in common. Herman Jr. had several children: Gussy, Walter, Dorsie, and Charlie. All lived and died in Oklahoma.
