The 2 fotos (before & after) are amazing. The first one shows amazing clarity, as you can read almost everything even though the headstone is in weathered condition. Also, it has a kind of antique look, which figures, since it is over 150 years old. The second one shows the headstone in pristine condition and also very clear. How do you restore a headstone like that without damaging it? These are my grandparents (throw in a few greats). Thank you both for your wonderful fotos. Is the building their home? Where? Who supplied the family info? Thanks.

A message for Diana Joe Mason Meadows or Kate Duvall. I'm a journalist in search of information about the late Roy Sullivan, former ranger at Shenandoah National Park. Would either of you have any information about surviving family members or friends of Roy's? Thanks

Someone has cleaned her headstone and uplaoded an even better photo. Do you wish to remove yours as they suggest?
I am not averse to keeping them both, so it is up to you.

Thank you for your efforts at the Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery. I am sorry they wouldn't give you access. I have always found the Methodist Churches to be the friendliest. The request has been removed.
|John Stoutimore||Stoutamyer & Stoutamyre|
Thanks so much for taking photos of the Stoutamyer's and Stoutamyre's at Mt. Olivet. They are relatives, notwithstanding the various spellings, and this helps round out the family tree. Best wishes.
|Clifford Mullis||J W Crist gravestone photos|
Thanks for the beautiful photos. The two matching stones are for John W Crist and his wife Mary Blakemore.
The name on the memorial (Joseph) and the civil war service information is NOT CORRECT. I am trying to get this fixed. The gravestone you took a picture of his for Lieut. John W Crist, Company I, 5th Virginia, CSA (part of the Stonewall brigade). He served througout the war, from first Bull Run to Appomatox.
