Nope No marriage there. He walked away from any responsibility for my grandmother. She was essentially fatherless except for her grandfather Alexander E. McClure Bolton for the first 8 years of her life. At which time she was deemed old enough by her mother to be helpful in raising her Legitimate half siblings and was taken from her grandfathers home and moved into her mother and stepfathers home.

Ota Foster
Dear Emily
Today I was able to take the photograph of Ota's headstone. Next to them was Guy so I also took their headstone picture. Thought I would let you know. If there is no memorial for them I will create one you can see.
Take Care

Howell
When I went to the cemetery to photograph Mary's stone, I found it along with 9 other small stones around a big stone with Howell on it. I'll try to get them all added tonight. Tom.

RE: Hemsleys
Hi Emily,

Thanks for messaging me back.

My friend would like to view your Ancestry tree. Can you share your Ancestry link, or username?

Also, my friend found her connection to the Hemsleys through AncestryDNA.

Out of curiosity, have you done any DNA testing to find distant relatives?

Thanks,
Jessica

Hemsleys
Hi Emily,

I am helping a friend, who is not on Find A Grave, do some family genealogy. She is distantly connected to the Hemsley/Brown line.

I noticed you maintain quite a good bit of memorials, with some great photos, to boot.

I was wondering if you are related to the Hemsley's, and if you had a family tree my friend can take a look at.

Thanks,
Jessica

Rachel Badgley at First Presbyterian
I have to apologize for causing your request for a photo of Rachel Badgley's grave to appear to have been fulfilled. I had posted a photo of the grave of Rachel Badgley, the wife of Cornelius Badgley, before I noticed it was the wrong Rachel.

There is no marker for your Rachel Badgley, nor is there a grave number for her since her tombstone must have been already missing in 1892 when the inscriptions of all stones existing at the time were published in a book.
