Bio Photo April 23, 2015. I'm having major computer problems and may be offline several days. Please have patience if you send me an update. I will get to it when able.

Sorry, but I will not respond if you request a transfer that doesn't fit the FAG Guidelines.

I hate perpetuating errors that eventually get accepted as facts. DO NOT send me a birth date that is only sourced from a census record.

Thank you to those who have left flowers for my 3 great loves, Dennis, daddy and momma .

RE: Help with memorial
Hello cousin,

I do not know if we are really cousins, though I study the thousands of coal miners from my region who emigrated to the USA (DUPIRE, for example). But there are no coal miners in my family. However, you can see all of them on our family tree (annie demory in Google or anniedemory on Geneanet).

I have found the birth certificate of VONAU online in Archives du Haut-Rhin (France). Her first name was Françoise and it was probably changed into Fannie (I do not read Jannie). Francis TITO was probably her husband and Peter Thiebald TITO their son.

I will add Françoise at least, and the 3 if I can find a marriage certificate in France. You will probably able to see that tomorrow on Geneanet when it is indexed. I will also put the tombstones.

If you wish further information, you can ask.

I will also put my additions on Find a Grave.

Best regards,

Jean-Luc Coubronne (France)

Thanks so much Dawna I have posted the info and given your credit as the source.

I started with a "computer body" basically computer to recliner..ugh! Now feeling much better and stronger, hope to drop more weight, at least enough to make up for my pack. Thank you for following along with us...not long now.

You have a great evening.

Cemetery records
Hi Dawna,
Hope all is well with you and yours.

You can look up folks in the cemetery records on usgenweb for St. Roch Cem 1 and 2

http://www.usgwarchives.net/la/orleans/cemetery.htm

There are also a few other cemeteries on that site as well.

I am sorry I am really short on time right now our training is going full steam so I spend all morning working out now up to seven miles with an eighteen pound pack on walking up the berms here. Then all afternoon planning the hike with Mike and making boxes up for mail drops for supplies.

I have really enjoyed working with you, thank you for all that you do. Please follow us if you would like on our travel journal, see our profile for link.
Take care
Bushy

RE: Hortence and Emile Leplat
Hello,

I sent you a PDF file of the LEPLAT family at your mail address 2 days ago, but it came back undelivered.

I suggest that you have a look at our tree on Geneanet and leave a private message there (only seen by my wife and me).

Free and easy access : type "annie demory" in Google.

RE: Hortence and Emile Leplat
Hello,

All the information I have found is online, either in Archives du Nord or Archives du Pas-de-Calais. Suppose you want to see Émile's birth certificate. You type Archives du Nord in Google, next you choose État Civil, Actes ; you write Bruille-Saint-Amand (in Commune)(only the first 3 letters BRU, and you click on Rechercher. Next you choose the period indicated (1819-1846) and you will find the birth record on page 93.
If you do not manage, I suggest you visit our family tree "annie demory" in Google. The site is Geneanet. You can choose English as a language. You type LEPLAT in "all names" (noms in French) and you will see the whole branch of LEPLATS. If you want to ask a question, you can leave a private message there and we will answer.

Best regards,

Jean-Luc (France)

RE: Carvers
We published a JC cemetery book about 10 years ago.
If you need any look ups, be glad to help.

I got David's age, 1846, from the book.

I found Matilda Jane's short obit this morning, I'll send it to you.
