I love contributing to findagrave! Normally, I maintain the memorial records, & my husband, Wm. John Heslop, takes all the fantastic photos! We enjoy taking a picnic with us, especially to some of the remote locations, & just spend the day documenting! Each cemetery that I have listed has someone, even distantly, that we are related to! We may be FAMILY!!

Chloe McConnell-Barnett
Memorial # 56112394
I have a photo of a Chloe McConnell from my aunt's photos and trying to find anything I can about her. It appears to be a school photo and
the DOB you have is close enough to be her. It was in Texarkana, Miller county, AR.
Do you have any other info about her?
Thanks, Chris # 46852418

Bernis Oakley died Thursday, May 23, at the regional hospital in Jackson at the age of 78. A Hardin County native, he was the son of the late John J. and Virgin Reynolds Oakley. He was married to the former Opal Blackwelder, and he was a teacher with the Hardin County School System for over 35 years. Mr. Oakley was also a farmer. Services were Saturday, May 25, at 3 p.m. at Mt. View Church of Christ near Savannah with Paul Briley officiating. Burial was in Shady Hill Cemetery near Savannah. Other than his wife Opal, he is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Durbin, Linda Stricklin and Annie Murphy, all of Savannah; one son, E. B. "Tub" Oakley of Pulaski, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

I am curious why this obit says one set of parents, yet is linked to another. It's curious. I don't disagree that she was A.W. & Bette Glass's daughter, I just think that something is off here. Any ideas ?

Hi, would you be willing to share the source showing that Sallie was the child of L. T. Twyman?

In your bio you mentioned being even distantly related to someone in the cemetery. I LIKE YOUR 3 PHOTOS of (Dr.) JOEL T. KENNEDY markers. By any chance, do you have a connection here. My connection is through the 1880 census with "Mary Stewart 14 cousin"; I've had trouble tracing anything. A Mary Stewart was my great grandmother who married Benjamin Franklin West.
Thank you. Alicia

Stacy, thank you so much for figuring all this out. It's difficult when there are same names within a family (whether it be cousins or Jr's, etc) it just gets so confusing. Thank you your work!

Cora Albritton
Cora was my mother-in-law. She died in Farmerville, Union Parish, Louisiana not Kaufman, Texas. I have a record of this in Find a Grave with all children if you wish to delete yours if not please correct death location. Thanks
