Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello! I'm Robert (aka "Cenantua"), and I'm a native and resident of the Shenandoah Valley. I've spent a good deal of my life focused on history and the people in it, especially as it relates to my own people in the past. In my eyes, grave hunting and history have always been linked, and it may be that grave hunting actually led me deeper into my quest for expanding my knowledge and understanding of history and the people who played a part in it. Most of my entries or requests for changes of existing memorials in Find-a-Grave relate to my ancestors, relatives, or Civil War era interests.

The funeral home as no record of Mr. Kinney. I don't mind asking again. Could he buried in a plot owned by someone else. Any ideas?

John Shuler
Hello there!

I am curious if you are an ancestor of John Shuler. I figured you might be since its seems that you have posted family pictures. If you are, do you have anything that confirms that John Kite and Delia Armentrout are the parents of his wife Mary Kite? Marys obit states that her maiden name was Kite, but doesnt specify her parents or siblings. Or kids for that matter

Thanks in advance,

Laura Armentrout-Tibbs

John Kite Cemetery
I see that you created a record for Delia Kite in the John Kite Cemetery. Do you have happen to have a picture of the headstone?

Benjamin T. Weatherholtz
Hi, you created a page for Benjamin T. Weatherholtz (1842-1915), and have him being buried in a Weatherholtz Cemetery in Page County, Va. Can you please provide directions to that cemetery? Thanks

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that there were other stones in the plot for the Campbell's that you might be interested in.

I created the memorials. They are:

August H Plugge # 144240726
Austin H Plugge# 144240765
Campbell H Plugge # 144240817
Dr. Frederick W. Plugge V # 144240534
Jeanette F Plugge # 144240792
Kathryn M Plugge # 144240576

Hope they fit into your tree somehow!

Cheers!

Alexander Shannon Mullin
Hello Richard,
I was wondering how to add information to your Clear Spring Boys in Blue cemetery? Alexander Shannon Mullin was my 3rd great grandfather and was in the civil war. He is buried in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery in clear spring. He was also in the Mexican War.
Thanks

RE: David Fenton Roudabush
He was wonderful to employ us little kids. We might have eaten more than we put in the box. We lived across the road and very near the water tower. We called his place "Little Jerusleum". There is still part of the wall remaining. I go by it every time I go home.

This memorial was made burial unknown which according to find a grave rules is only allowed for thirty days . I see you are related to this person if you email me at bonedigger2@yahoo.com I will send you his death certificate which will give you his burial location and his correct day of passing

I was afraid it worked that way , no sense in saying anything to that party as I would imagine they are the same one making the memorials without any burial locations
