Please accept my apology for being less than complete. The Mary Metcalf I referenced is Find A Grave Memorial# 92620962. She has a listed date of birth as 1777. The Mary I am seeking would coincide with the date of 1769 as you listed. Mary, who was a Claypool and married a Norris Metcalf, to have the 1769 date of birth she would need to have been a twin of her sister Jane as listed in their father's will. Thank you so much for your prompt reply and help.

Do you know anything about this Mary? Is she possibly the daughter of John Claypool? Could her husband have been Norris metcalf? Mary Claypool is named as daughter of John in his will and is listed as a Metcalf. Blessings

I have added an Edit for you to accept to add links to Roy Simpson's parents at Rimersburg Cemetery. "Uncle Roy" was a brother of my grandmother Dessa Mae Simpson McClaine. She died in 1918 during the Spanish Flu epidemic while my father was still an infant.
Are you a member of the family of Viola Gray? She had a son, John L., and he had a son Russell L. Gray. Someone has found military dog tags for Russell and is trying to reunite them with Russell's family. Please contact me or go to the facebook page called GENEALOGY: LOST AND FOUND on facebook for more information:

I found him on the 1880 census, yet on findagrave says he died 1866. I just wanted to get what your understanding wouldbearound that. I have his wife marrying Jacob Loar 1881. Could she have said he was there on the census and he not really be there?
I have seen were they will list on on directories as the widow of the deceased..
Thanks esther 47393584)
