Bio and Links
Bio Photo Picture taker, scavenger, finder of the lost....Visitor to many of those long gone.

A stone with a name is a memorial, it represents the last hard impression of the person for whom it was prepared. To research and say something about the person keeps the personality alive.

Please note:

PLEASE DO NOT ADD DEATH CERTIFICATES OR MILITARY DOCUMENTS TO MEMORIALS. I REALIZE THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO HELP OTHERS BUT IT ADDS NOTHING TO THE CONCEPT OF THE MEMORIAL TO THE INDIVIDUAL IN QUESTION.

I will connect links that are identified as long as you give me all of the memorial numbers involved.

I do not want to place incorrect information in a memorial, so I will correct errors to a memorial when they are accurately identified.

I know that people will find infomation about a given person but please do not send that information to me to add under bio, as I do not have the time to add it. If they are your direct family, I will transfer the memorial to you. Please explain the relationship and identify all applicable numbers for me in order to do this.

Thank you for your understanding.

RE: Mahlon & Mary Firing
1900 census only lists Mahlon & Mary with a son, Wm. G. age 14. They married circa 1883, so would not have children in 1880 and the 1890 census is not available, so that was a dead end.

RE: Mahlon & Mary Firing
It is a distant relationship that I have.
John Wm Gross had among his children, two sons:
John and David Gross
John had a son Wm, who had Mary, who married to Mahlon Firing.
David had a dau. Elizabeth, who married John Masser; Elizabeth and John Masser had Wm. Masser, my great-grandfather.
Mary Gross Firing and my great-grandfather were 2nd cousins and I would then be 3 times removed.
In regard to the Stouts and Boices, I don't know who the children of Mary and Mahlon were, as I haven't searched that out, but perhaps the Stouts and Boices were married daughters and their husbands. I'll see what I can easily find on the census records.

Mahlon & Mary Firing
Thank you so much for the very nice map to show Mahlon and Mary's burials and to show they have no grave markers. I like what you did to show this, as it quickly tells everyone that there is no marker.

Milton Hartline,
Thanks for adding photo of Milton Hartline's grave at Union Cemetery, Bechtelsville. Do you have one of his wife, Amanda Guldin, that you can add or should I request one for her too?

Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph his headstone for me. I really appreciate it. I hope that notating the site row and number aided you in finding him. Again, thank you!
