I have been tracing my family's origins for only a short time,.|
Happily I have had a lot of luck because of the Internet; almost too much information to digest.
Both sides of my family are from Pennsylvanian and Chillicothe, Ohio
My Fathers parents are William A Krout 1871 – 1952 and Martha Belle Naus 1876 - 1965
My Mothers parents are Fay Leroy Kline 1887 – 1930 and Bertha Scott 1895- 1970
I am always interested in information related to these families. I am happy exchange photos and historical information with others.
My interest in family history started at an early age. Oddly no one in the family was all that interested in telling me much. My interest in history continues today. I have been an antique dealer and also run estate sales in the metro Detroit suburbs. I have been doing this for almost 30 years.
I have no problem with anyone sharing any photo or information I post here of on any other site. I put it there to help others. You will never get a pissy e-mail from me about you using or sharing any information or photos I post. .

|Kay Baldwin||RE: John Low|
I'm the one who created the John Low memorial in the historic Rock Chapel Cemetery and also a direct descendant. My paternal grandmother was a Lowe. Do you have any additional information regarding him? I noticed you made no comment on his wife's memorial page. Would you be a descendent of Providence Clark Low?
|Pat Bauman||RE: Sampson Family|
Your information is correct. Whoever the original poster for this Sampson family was had Sarah Jane Sampson as the daughter of Levi Krout and Elizabeth!
|Pat Bauman||Sampson Family|
Sarah Jane Sampson was married to George Perry Edie. She was the daughter of Levi Sampson and Elizabeth Krout....not Levi Krout.

You are very welcome. Ellen Headington

Thanks for the reply. I just signed up for a non-free membership in Ancestry.com to check out the details on Jane Clark.
It's good to have you in the family, but I'm a little skeptical of the connections that some Ancestry.com members have made with the Jane Clark buried in Millwood. I hope that some good, solid records can be found.

Could you elaborate on your relationship to Jane Clark Moffitt, buried at Millwood Cemetery, Knox Co Ohio? She is my 3-g grandmother, and all I know about her is that she was presumably born in Ireland, was buried at Millwood, and is one of the people responsible for my existence.
Tracing the Moffitt/Clark roots prior to landing in Knox Co has been difficult.
|Tammy Gephardt||Krout Relation|
In reference to what I said yesterday, a Michael Krout born in 1805 in Baltimore County Maryland, and died in October 2, 1888, and buried in the Methodist Protestant Cemetery, Maryland Line, Baltimore County, Maryland? His wife was Julie Ann Lowe. Born 1812 in Pennsylvania and died in 1896. Haven't found out where she's buried yet.
Would you be any relation to a Michael Krout and Julia Ann Lowe Krout?
|Angela (Hart) Masterson||Relation to Appleman family?|
Greetings, William! How does your family relate to William S. Appleman (1806-1897) Find A Grave Memorial# 53681866? My husband is a direct descendant through William and Catherine's daughter Lucinda (Appleman) Bankes. William and Catherine are my husband's Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandparents.
Thanks for your time,
Angela (Hart) Masterson
