Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy several years ago, while attending a family reunion. Someone made the statement "If someone doesn't write this information down, then it's going to be lost". I realized how true that was, so I began my searches. I think "Family" is very important, and sometimes younger generations don't think much about the present time, then later begin to wonder. Of course, after all the info has been gathered, then family members request copies of the info, which I am happy to share.

Now that I have become aquainted with Find A Grave, I am trying to get as much info and photos added, as possible, to help others locate their loved ones.

If requesting transfers, or asking me to do corrections or additions, please do so, through the edit tab on the memorial you are requesting.

Jan, I transferred her to your care! Easier than making all the changes. Thanks, Nancy

I added the obituary for Claude. Thanks so much. He is not my family but I do have family in Albion and was at the cemetery a few years ago and made memorials while I was there. I am planning on being in Albion next week to do more family research. Is the Independent Times a paper that can be researched there?

Thanks for your note regarding the date you found of her death on a funeral card. I have no further info on her and since she died in 1970, no way to find any obit or further info online. If you would scan her funeral card and post it, that might at least give an indication of some discrepancy for those interested. Thanks.

Hiram and Harrison Hardacre
These two Hardacre men - Hiram (1828-1900) and Harrison (1830-1909) with their wives are, according to obits both buried in Pleasant Hill, Lawrenceville Cemetery in Bridgeport or in Lawrenceville. I have found many of their descendants. They were the 10th & 11th children of Benjamin and Nancy (McFadden) Hardacre. If you happen to find their burial stones in one of the cemeteries in that area, please e-mail elaprice@aol.com ..thanks..
