I am a native of Utah and have been doing research for almost 20 years. I have a lot of resources at my fingertips. I also have access to lots of Utah records and know where you can get specific documents to help find your ancestors. Especially of interest, very early Ogden City Cemetery burial records.|
I don't charge for questions! I welcome you to ask even if you are curious of what I can find for you. Don't hesitate to contact me if you need me to help you. I have decided since I am asked so much to do genealogy research and information about obituaries, etc. that I can't process these requests for free. I don't mind doing the work for you but it does cost me gas and time. If you are interested in getting my help my fees are below:
Obituary Search: (Weber County Only)
1.00 per first obituary plus 1.00 for gas plus 10 cents for one copy $2.10
1.00 per first obituary plus 1.00 for gas plus 10 cents per copy and 50 cents each for additional obituaries $2.10 + 50= $2.60
Marriage licenses for Weber County are 1.00 each.
Book Research: (Weber County Only)
2.00 (This includes the gas) plus 10 cents for each page.
I am contemplating covering several other counties in genealogical research. Just ask me I might know how to help you get pointed in the right direction.
If you have any questions or requests please email me Utahtombstonelady@hotmail.com.
For all the people whom have taken the
time to take photos for my memorials...a BIG THANKS!
Please don't create duplicate memorials for people I have taken photos or created memorials for...simply ask and I will gladly transfer ownership over to you, unless I am related to the same individual. Please be respectful and ASK ME before you take and post my photos to different web sites! You may use or post a copy of headstones to other websites as long as you post this info with it: Special permission has been given by Utahtombstonelady@hotmail.com.
PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME WITH ENTERING FAMILY LINKS...this is a relatively NEW THING here at FindAGrave. I have over 4,000 memorials and I am trying to update the memorials as fast as possible. If you want to help me with this endeavor please send me suggestions or email me for FASTER results!
I am related to several individuals in my memorials. I WILL NOT turn over OWNERSHIP for them for obvious reasons.
If you want to take over ownership you must click the link and send your contributor # so I can transfer it over to you!
I am extremely passionate about taking headstone photos in old cemeteries simply because the cemetery markers and tombstones are being disintegrated and destroyed by many elements. These markers and tombstones might be some of the oldest in Utah. The biggest threat the headstones face today are vandals. The other obvious threats are weather and time. Now is the time to photograph them while they are still intact. I encourage whomever would like to photograph and care for tombstones to do it now so that further generations will have a chance to view these headstones, if no way else than by photograph.

|Jan Beasley||RE: Sarah (Van Eaton) Palmer|
Thanks for all you have done regarding this family. John Rodham Palmer #43802463 is buried in Sidney Cemetery. John Rodham Palmer's wife, Sarah (Van Eaton) Palmer #50943739, is buried in Boone County, Indiana in the Old Thorntown Cemetery. She apparently died there shortly after giving birth to their youngest child.
I do not know where Joseph Finley Palmer is buried. His birth year is about 1854 and some other trees have his death year as 1893. I do not find him in the 1895 Iowa census, but his family (Delia and four children) is in Bartlett, Fremont County in the 1895 census, so 1893 is a plausible death year for him. I would love to have a burial place and confirmation of his death date.

Thank you for your kind offer. Actually, Lanny was laid to rest in Roy Cemetery, and I've been able to *link* his online memorial with that of his son, Kevin Lee Bertoch. Again, thank you...for everything!

I had found that as well, thanks though!
