Bio and Links
Bio Photo "I will show you fear in a handful of dust." T.S. Eliot

We are not so much afraid of dying, as we are of no one remembering we existed at all.

We only walk this earth because of the people before us. Every name is a memory to a life, not just a branch in a tree. Sometimes all that echoes through time is a name, a date, a relationship, a headstone. But bringing those things together here is remembering the person who lived, and I am proud to be a part of this community of volunteers who spend their free time to send the message "you have not been forgotten"

Still active as of November 2014. If you have any information to add to any memorials I have created please let me know but use the EDIT- SUGGEST A CORRECTION feature. Please also use this feature when inquiring about a specific memorial, the comments section below is not helpful in directing me with a link to see what you are talking about.

PROCESSING EDITS: I know about the feature, but I don't blindly click all. Have patience, I will get to it, but I do check- I will also look for an obituary for you if its here in Oregon. So have patience, check back when you get the email, it might be worth a look.

DO YOU KNOW? Find A Grave will automatically process all untouched edits after 3 weeks. Yep. that contributor who's been ignoring your requests for years didn't just finally get with the program.

DO YOU KNOW? if you mess up a submission you can go to your own edits page, use the drop down menu to find edits you have submitted, find the edit you did and delete and redo if it hasn't been processed. Pretty Nifty if you ask me. Edits on Find A Grave are finally happening and they have fixed some of the flaws from the initial launch.

PHOTOS: I took the photo to help you! If you would like any of the photos I have taken for your own family tree, you are welcome to them. If its a family photo I added though, please contact me! I don't mind sharing, I have a public tree on ancestry.com that I will give you directions to for more photos (if I have them). Our ancestors should be remembered by all who want to preserve a piece of who they were. My collection is the work of many who believed in saving photos of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents they never knew and then taking the time to share them with me. As we pass through this world, I feel better knowing my ancestors wont disappear and pictures forgotten if multiple people from all over have the key.

Awesome! Thank you so much for every single memorial you put in for all of us!! I cannot imagine how you did that name after name line after line!! You took good care of my Papa, until I could find him.
Bless you and yours!

Hey Erin,
I just wanted to say Im sorry because I just discovered there is some sort of unwritten rule about the amount of edits to send. Honest to goodness I didn't know.
Its just that while uploading the photos its so easy to add and/or fix the dates, etc.
I see by the below correspondence you have been doubly slammed and I hate like heck that I may haver added to your stress. Please let me know how you would prefer I handle the edits.

Lovina Derby Enfield Johnson
You are wrong I am related through my husband. Lovina's first husband was John/Joseph Enfield who was a brother to my husband's great grandfather. That is the reason I did an indepth research of the family. She might of been buried under the name of Johnson but she was married longest and had all her children by John/Joseph Enfield and I have extensive information on the Enfield's. You can think what you want of me but I have been researching the Enfield's and my own lines for over fifteen years. I think we should just leave it at appreciating each other's efforts. Lovina's maiden name was Derby if that helps you and you can use this information as you will and don't have to give me credit for it. You will find a lot of my stuff on Ancestry.com.

Lovina Johnson
I just realized that what I said sounded rude and I didn't mean it to be. The thing is that I spent a lot of hours of research unscrambling the family and also spent money for obituaries and death certificates. I feel that anyone who is really interested can do the same. Again, this may sound rude but I am not in a mood to share. I am sorry about that.

Memorial transfers.
Thank you Erin for the transfer of the memorial transfers of our relatives at Mountain View Cemetery. We are slowly being able to gather those we don't have.
Thank you again.

RE: Ida Camp
Hi Erin,

You are very welcome for the info for Ida Uffner Camp. I was hoping to hear from you. I had lost the info for Miss Ida's request and I wasn't sure who to contact. While searching for her and finding that she is buried with her father and mother, I also found a couple others who also do not have headstones or markers in the lot. I wanted to make sure that you were aware of these other persons. Infant Camp, who passed between 1899-1910 and Joseph Camp who passed between 1910-1919. Alison Loar at Cedar Hill may be able to give you more info on them. I did not make either of them a Find A Grave memorial in case you would rather do that, but I can if you prefer, just let me know.

Many Thanks--@ngel #47774099

RE: Watts
Awesome! Today was my first time out there as an adult. I was looking for my Linn side and literally stumbled upon my step moms side too. I should probably set up a tent, I would be in hog heaven.
I have to get my own shots of family members that even already have photos because of copyright laws. What a beautiful cemetery.
