I was raised in Bradford Co., PA on a farm. My interest in genealogy was sparked by my lack of grandparents on my father's side, since he was adopted. So I traced my Rockwell side back to the Rev. War. I like historical research, so what better place to focus my interest on - cemeteries. My wife's ancestors are from Sullivan Co., PA so my main focus is on Bradford & Sullivan Counties in Pennsylvania. I am on the findagrave.com volunteer photographer e-mail list so will take a photo for you when requested.|
You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for personal uses. It takes much time and effort to locate, process, and post these images I have posted, so I expect and appreciate the courtesy of citing your source!

|Joe Head||Philip Paul Bliss [Jr.] gravesite|
Lyle, finally made it to the grave site of Philip Paul Bliss, Jr. Sadly both his and his wife's headstones were 'toppled over' and lying next to the large Mayor Family marker of his wife's family. I wonder how much it would cost Evergreen Cemetery to remount the headstones on their original foundations? By the way, are you related to the Rockwells buried in the Rome, PA cemetery next to the Bliss monument? Thanks again for all your help in locating the graves of my Head family relatives. Got to visit them in Towanda and Spencer as well. Had a nice tour of the Bliss Museum in Rome, PA by Anne Trousdale Gardner. When I mentioned your name she immediately said that she knew you and then proceeded to pull out a genealogical research paper that you had put together at one time.

Thank you for your time and for the photo
I believe the photo you have for him is not the one you intended. If you look close, the person that stone belongs to is only 4 years old. Also, I have a picture of his stone and he is buried in the Morgan Cemetery. You may want to change the cemetery to the Morgan Cemetery and I can post it when you make a request for the photo. Just trying to help with the accuracy of the memorials :)

Sorry--I should have given you one more detail on my mother's death. My mother passed on May 29, 1981.
