she was also married to Wiley Preston Hays
WP Hays and Mary Adeline (Connell) Lowe Hays appear on the 1900 Upshur County census, with Hezie M. Lowe and Bessie Lowe along with some of WP Hays's children from his first marriage to Huldah Jane White.
Do you have anyone in your Hood Family that was a preacher, any information would be helpful.
|Patricia ||Relationship to J.F. Kennedy|
I haven't been back to this site for about a year. My Father was James Franklin Kennedy Jr. He is now deceased. He is buried in a national cemetery because he served over 24 years in the US Army and died in Kansas.
I have visited the grave of John F. Kennedy and the family at the Haskell Cemetery. I lost track with most of the family because my mother and father were divorced when I was small. I kept up with Myrtle Kennedy for several years until her death. She stayed at home with Grandpa John (her father) until he died. He had disapproved of the man who asked her to marry when she was a young woman. She never left home. I remember meeting Ola Bell and Hugh. And Great-Aunt Dessie. She and Roy are buried in Wichita Falls. Miss them all. Good luck on your search for ancestry.
