My dads sister got me hooked on the family tree research. She sent me piles of research she had done. The internet has opened up so many search possibilities. I love being a member of Find A Grave, meeting a lot of very nice and interesting people while visiting my local cemeteries. Great sucess I have gotten my kids excited about helping me with family research and photographing site for others.|
Working together to keep all our family history alive.
If I added a memorial from someone's family member, we will gladly transfer ownership if requested, and will share larger photos if needed.

I`m seeking your permission to write a bio of Dan Dove in the Kirk Cemetery. He served in several political offices and is, I think, deserving of historical mention. He went out of his way in 1964 to help me with historical research of Limestone County, when I was a boy of 11. I want to honor him.
Thanks, Randy Hyden ,

ID #54094699 you show as George Curry Driver but headstone shows Georgia not George.
Thank you for looking at this and makiing correction. Lois

|Auntie Pam||America Lucinda DOVE|
I received a note from someone today indicating that we have duplicate memorials for American Lucinda Dove. When I was trying to locate the grave of my great-great grandmother America Lucinda Dove, I found the original memorial with completely unaffiliated information attached to it. The information didn't even match the headstone.
I tried corresponding with the original person with no response, so I started a new memorial for my great-great grandmother's information attached which matches the headstone. Since you have the name DOVE, perhaps you can answer some further questions: Have you located her husband's grave? He signed my great grandmother's death certificate, and his name is Elijah Dove. They had a son called BYRD or BIRD Dove, and I cannot locate him either. Would like to resolve this. Thank you, Find A Grave photographer, Pam Genovesi

Must be some mistake, I know nothing about the above memorial you transferred to me. Maybe the requestor has a member number close to mine and the number was transposed when you sent it. I am transferring it back to you so maybe you can transfer it to the original requestor. Thank you and have a good day....

|Jim Teegardin||Alice Dove|
Wanda, made a mistake. Alice Dove was a Pfaffman and married Paul Dove, Harry's son.
Sorry about my confusion.
|Jim Teegardin||Benjamin Harrison (Harry) Dove|
Wanda, my name is Jim Teegardin and I would like to find out more about the Dove side of my family.
My great grandparents were Albert and Addie Dove.
Ralph, my grandfather, and Harry were brothers.
My mother was the daughter of Ralph Dove and Caroline Koon. Harry's daughter Alice Irene Dove Pfaffman passed away on August 17, 2015 and is buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Noble County, Indiana.
I would be interested in receiving any information you may have concerning the Dove genealogy.
Thanks, Jim Teegardin
|Deborah Marder Gray||Other siblings|
I am Deborah Marder Gray, granddaughter of Zelphia Dove Millender. She is another daughter of Ophelyer Dove. There are other names missing that I can provide. my grandmother was born in 1905 .
|Sheila Miller||Hi Wanda!|
The family photo for Joshua Dove is the same photo I have because my mother - Frances Lee Orem - is the baby being held so I know this photo was taken in 1936. The tall youngest man is my grandfather Chester Lee Orem. I'd love to hear from you because there are a lot of Doves in the Brooms Island cemetery and I can't find a connection to any of them except Joshua. We have Pitcher's in our background too and there are a lot of Pitcher's in same cemetery and I can't find a connection to them either.
