I love cemeteries! I walk my area cemeteries frequently.|
If you see a name I have added, chances are I have a photo to go with the name. Use the "Request A Photo" link OR use the "Suggest A Correction" and write to me asking if I have the photo.
Please remember this site is FIND A GRAVE ... not Find A Family Tree. There are lots of other sites (such as Ancestry) for creating your family trees.
If you have corrections and/or additions, please let me know. I work very hard to make these Champaign County, OH memorials accurate.
However, please be SIGNED IN when you request a correction or have additions and LIST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!!!
"Visitor" info will be deleted.
If I have questions, I need to contact you.... otherwise I will NOT contact you further when edits are done.
If you are requesting a transfer of one of your direct grandparents, please be sure to include your ID# in your request!
If not your direct grandparent, I will gladly make your additions. Please follow the guidelines for requesting transfers, and only ask for grandparents, siblings, etc... no cousins, aunts, uncles.
Also, please don't add "unknown burials" unless you are going to update the memorial to a proper cemetery within 30 days. I won't add parental or spousal links to "unknown burials".
✔ PLEASE NOTE!!!
Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from an existing memorial & then ask others to delete their "duplicate". For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials.
Also, no need to send me info such as
"Mr & Mrs John Doe have another child, Jane Doe"
Or... "Mr Doe has a wife Jane who died XXX"
That's fine, but unless they have a memorial page, I cannot link them. Please create a page for additional spouses or children & link them, or send the contributor the link numbers. I can't link children unless I am their memorial creator.
These are the names I am currently searching. I won't transfer memorials related to anyone with the following surnames:

Thank you very much for taking the picture of the Strunk headstone for me.
Thank you so much for your time in taking the picture of Viola Petersein's headstone and of her husband..
Hi Candy -- Many thanks for all of my recent photos requests you have taken on the Slusser family. The photos are very appreciated; both the individual closeups of the specific name and their mate and the entire stone are very helpful. You did a lovely job to fill my requests on: Anthony Wayne Slusser, Find A Grave Mem. # 128337469; Esther E. Slusser, Find A Grave Mem. # 124698328; Charley H. Slusser, Find A Grave Mem. # 123639232; Daniel Slusser, Find A Grave Mem. # 122336715; and Hannah Slusser, Find A Grave Mem. # 93159570. Thank you for your volunteer service, you are appreciated. Regards, Grace ONeill, member # 47460387.
|J. Freeman||Elenore Goble Lindley|
I'm trying to get her children straight. You have them listed as:
Gerald James LINDLEY (1831-)
Sarah Jane LINDLEY (1833-)
Caleb LINDLEY (1835-)
Elizabeth LINDLEY (1836-)
Abram LINDLEY (1836-1907)
John Gerald LINDLEY (1838-)
Eleanor LINDLEY (1841-)
Susan E LINDLEY (1843-)
Jeremiah LINDLEY (1845-)
I'm actually not sure how to put this, but John Gerald was actually John Goble or John Geobel Lindley. I have found it both ways. I have never seen it Gerald in any of my findings. Plus, this is what other family members I have talked to have found. We think he was given Elenore's maiden name in honor of her.
Also was wondering About Eleanore, I have her listed as Ellen from a census record.
Abram was Abraham, found him on a census as well.
I do not have Elizabeth at all on mine as on one census there was a Susan E. Lindley and then on another an Elizabeth with the same birthday. I am guessing it is Susan Elizabeth Lindley, but I have not confirmed this.
The last thing is, I also have a WIlliam from the census listed as a child for them.
I'm just trying to confirm all the information I have found with information from other people. I'm in AZ so I can't do any of the graveyard searches and documentation. Thanks for any help!!
If you need to contact me, my e-mail is email@example.com

Spectacular monument (for a miser!) and a great photograph that really shows it off. Thank you, Candy, for this connection to my 3rd great grandfather. Alex
|Judi Kowalski||Thank you for the photos!|
Thank you for hurrying out this evening and taking the four 'Gray' family memorial stone photos I requested this afternoon. Wow! What a pleasant surprise. I put in so many requests that go unanswered but you have brightened my night when I found that you took the pictures and attached them to their Find A Grave memorials the same day that I requested them. I really do appreciate your time and effort! Judi
